Guys and Girls: Strangely self-conscious about having larger breasts?

**Disclaimer: I'm not belittling women who are self-conscious about having smaller breasts!** I'm a 16 year old in Year 10, with 32DD breasts, and what might be considered a 'curvy' figure with a small waist and defined hips. Occasionally at a party or social event, when I show a little bit of cleavage (I'm not talking about anything drastic/attention-seeking) I get the vibe that some of my female and male friends judge me on it? I certainly don't go walking around pushing them in anyone's faces, I just pick up on a few looks and can’t interpret if they’re negative. Girls, I’m wondering if any of you have felt this way before, or have a friend you’ve observed in a similar situation, and wondering if you could share your perspective on what you think is acceptable? Guys, I'm just wondering if a larger-breasted girl shows off a little cleavage, does this impact the way you judge/perceive her as a person negatively? Like would you label her a slut?

I wouldn't give her any sort of negative labels. Larger breasts will show cleavage on shirts that would show none on women with smaller breasts.

It's easy to feel like people are shooting you negative glances, but I would try not to assume it. People look at each other all the time wthout expression, just to see who is around. It might be that you are more self conscious when you show cleavage, and this makes you notice the looks more.

Thank you for your opinion, you sound like a non-judgmental person, and I wish everyone could adopt this type of attitude, even myself! I think I tend to assume the worst with regard to looks and glances when I'm already feeling self-conscious, and perhaps need to ignore it more, and wear my choice of clothing with pride.

Omg I know what you are talking about. I'm a 34 DD and if I have the slightest cleavage showing I feel like everyone only sees my boobs and makes judgment. But my friend Inez always has her tits like hanging out and doesn't care. I don't know how she does it. I'm always scared people will think I'm a hoe if I show of my tits but i do love them and wish I could let them show more often without feeling the need to cover them up

I feel the same way! And a lot of the time showing cleavage is unintentional! I think I need to adopt the attitude of simply not caring like your friend

I'm the same as you. It makes me so self conscious. They're always just... there! When choosing clothes I try to cover them, but they just show I hate it so much.

I feel that so much, it's honestly so frustrating, especially when I'd otherwise fit into a smaller size of clothes perfectly, but then my boobs bump me up a size!
