Guys who carry condoms in their wallet.

I feel there is a misconception on guys who carry condoms in their wallets. A lot of guys like me keep one condom in our wallet and carry it around like its a card or something, we carry it just to carry it. However, If we do find ourselves in a situation where it is needed, then we'll use it, but it doesn't mean we keep one on us just to creep or that we think we're players or anything. Thoughts?

Ever since I started driving, I made myself an "overnight bag" that I put in the car. It contains a full change of clothes (2 x underwear and 2 x socks), a pair of sweats, a towel, a shaving kit with toothbrush and toothpaste, a flashlight, a bottle of water, Carmex lip balm, sunblock, condoms, and a small bottle of lube, along with a few other odds and ends. Since I drive virtually anyplace I go, the bag is always in the trunk of the car, and thus never far away. Condoms are replaced at least once a year (usually more often, due to use), so I don't have to worry too much about heat-related break-down.

No reason to carry condoms in your wallet, where they not only make your wallet needlessly bulky, but also cause the condoms to break down at a very accelerated rate.

Over the years, I've gotten 10-20 times more POSITIVE comments about having condoms available (and lots more sex) than negative comments. Not that I really care what other people think; I do what *I* know to be right.

I don't do it but I have a friend who does and he is not a player or anything. I think he just does it to seem cool. Condoms deteriorate very quickly in wallets.

My thoughts are whether a guy carries a condom in his wallet is irrelevant to him being a player as since he's a guy he most likely wants to be a player or he's easy to get into bed. In my observations guys are 'skanky sluts' quite willing to bust a nut with a random as I've seen quite a lot of guys hook up with a gal within seconds of meeting her.

It's a bad place to keep one, unless it's in a hard shell case.

Most people carry condoms if they're responsible people. Including girls. I can't tell you how many times I've loaned one to a friend, even.

I think most girls know that guys will have sex nearly any time they get a chance, so we don't take it to mean he's a bad guy.

I totally agree!There's more respect for a guy who carries one because he's prepared, its much better than being in the moment not being able to stop yourself with no protection. A condom is so much cheaper than a baby, so I say a guy that does that is not a player, theyre playing it safe and they don't want to be a baby daddy! lol

either way I think keeping one in your wallet is stupid that actually defeats the purpose of having one. keeping your condom in your wallet, which guys typically keep in their pocket actually causes friction which increases your chances of it tearing! As far as guys who do it, I believe it shows they're trying to be responsible!

@update...that still doesn't matter! the friction and heat can do a lot of damage to a condom! you may not realize that til you finish and find out it broke!

you mean a wrapper? or like a metal case? my wallet is thick enough I don't need condoms in it. if I think I'm gonna get laid ill bring some with me or leave some in my car. even though temp changes can break them down also.
