Guys who DON'T like girl-on-top sex: Why don't you like it and why do you prefer other positions?

Other favorite sex positions might include missionary, doggy, spooning, or any others you care to list. For those of you men who don't care for the girl to be on top or the "cowgirl" position, why aren't you that into it? I've heard that those who do like it enjoy when the woman takes charge, being able to see her whole body moving around, and being able to rest a little during sex while still receiving some pleasure. Now I'd like to know what reasons guys have for NOT liking the girl on top.

Well, I like it fine, and most of the time, it's included in a sex session, but it's not my absolute favorite, and probably for the same reason that some other guys might not like it at all.

1. It's more of a female-dominant position, and dominant guys won't be quite as comfortable.

2. Most girls simply can't pump as hard or fast as a guy can, and some guys HAVE to have that speed and force in order to orgasm.

3. On a related note, many girls don't pump (do up-and-down motion) at all, but rather wiggle front-to-back or grind, and some guys really hate that, because it's the pumping that feels best for him.

4. Many GIRLS are uncomfortable with this position, and if the girl isn't enthusiastic in it, then it's a lot less enjoyable for the guy.

The reason I LIKE it is because, in addition to all of the things you listed, it also leaves my hands and mouth free. I can kiss her face and neck, or pull her up a little higher and enjoy her breasts or grab her hips or ass. Being able to enjoy her whole body at the same time is really nice, for both of us.

I like it when girls are on top, but generally prefer not. Two reasons: one is because girls tend to get tired and want to lay on their back half-way through, and changing positions can be slightly awkward. The second reason is because I don't use condoms, so pulling out is a little bit tricky when I'm not the one controlling the situation - plus, when we do pull out in time, the sperm ends up on my belly instead of on her belly, back, or butt, which is disappointing. Keep in mind this second reason doesn't apply to girls on birth control.

Don't get me wrong, if I could get a girl that enjoyed being on top for the entire ride, that would be great - but I've yet to meet such a girl. At best, a few girls wanted to lay down on top of me while I thrust upward. This usually ends well, for both of us, but if I must be doing the leg work, I'd rather have more freedom of motion.

Plus I'm a butt guy, so I prefer being behind a girl (doggy). Reverse cowgirl could be nice - I wouldn't know because I've never tried it.

I don't like being on top because I don't like to be dominant in sex also because I get really tired very soon (5 minutes top)

I have a nice butt so usually my partners prefer doggy style with me ( this is my favorite position ... Its just hot because my long hair can be pulled and also because almost always it involves roughness lol )

I love a girl on top, but it can hurt me sometimes...certain girls, usually the thicker type, can come down hard on the nuts and it can be painful when repeatedly beat up on...The girl needs to support her weight and have the right technique. Favorite for me is "the buck" with her legs up in the air or on my shoulders, stretching her apart a little.

Girl on top is not just one position, it's several different positions, and I actually like most of them. I like dominant girls.
