This myTake is about why I think male gynecologists are wrong and how they abuse their power. We live in a world where insanity has become normal, where things that use to be seen as outrageous are now accepted as the norm. It is now accepted as the norm for a woman to go to a male doctor and allow him to examine her breasts and vagina. In reality, this is an abuse of women.
1. Male doctors are professionals and don't look at their patients sexually.
Wrong! Nothing could be further from the truth. Although some male doctors don't look at attractive patients sexually, a lot of them do. You can go on the internet and read cases that have come out in the media where male gynecologists have lost their licence for sexual abuse or have secretly recorded their naked female patients. There is also a website that I know of where doctors go on internet forums and openly admit to getting aroused while examining a female patient who is young and attractive. He might act professional, but that doesn'tmean he's not being a pervert. He's a man first and job second, and heterosexual men love seeing attractive women naked, whether or not they have a medical licence.
2. There's always a female nurse in the room
That's not always true. I've come across a lot of women who said that they were completely alone with the male doctor when they were being examined. Sometimes there is a nurse present, other times there isn't. And even if there is a nurse present, that still doesn't change the fact that the male doctor is still getting to examine women half naked and touch and feel their most private body parts.
3. Men do not go through years of medical school just to see naked women
I'm not saying they do. So what? They may very well do it for all the "right reasons" but that doesn't mean they don't get a thrill when they examine the breasts and vagina of a healthy young woman.
4. Male doctors have to examine ugly obese women who have infections. How can that be arousing?
Sure they do. They also get to examine a lot of healthy attractive women. If a male doctor had to examine a ugly obese woman with an infection, I'm sure he would hold his nose. But I can't imagine the doctor holding his nose if he was examining a young, attractive healthy female.
5. Male gynecologists have seen so many vaginas that it no longer affects them.
Simply not true. If it were true then there would never be any case of male doctors losing their licence for sexual abuse or misconduct, but there are infact many cases. Male gynecologists still have girlfriends, have sex, go to strip clubs, and look at pornography, just like most other men. Porn stars never seem to get bored of sex, for every female brings a different, unique experience.
6. Male gynecologists save lives
Based on my research, a lot of these exams are not necessary and have never been proven to save lives. And besides, there are plenty of female doctors available.
To sum it up, I believe gynecology, for the most part, is an abuse of women. I've read a lot of testimonies from over the years and it does seem that a lot of male doctors take advantage and abuse their power. I've read testimonies from women who said that they went to the doctor for a sore throat and ended up having a breast or pelvic exam. I've heard of women complaining that they were denied the pill if they didn't agree to a breast and pelvic exam. I've heard women say that they were required to be totally naked. And most shocking of all, I've read from people who have friends who are male doctors, and they said that behind closed doors their doctor friend told them that sometimes they will do unecessary exams on really attractive women just to see them naked, and that most women will just do as they're told and won't even question it. Asa last resort the doctor will use fear to scare the woman into submission, that if she doesn't agree to the examine she is putting her life at risk. Fear is their greatest weapon.
So it does seem like there are a lot of doctors who do secretly abuse their power. They are still men, and these men have a licence to examine women's breasts and vagina. A licence doesn't prevent a man from being a man. Women are taught to cover up and hide their private parts, but when it comes to a male doctor women will happily undress and give the doctor access to their breasts and vagina. You can justify it by calling it a medical exam, but you're still letting a man get restricted access to your vagina. He's a man first and job second.
