Has anyone dumped someone because his penis was too big and sex was painful?

I've been dating this guy for about 3 weeks, and we had sex. It was not a good feeling as he is bigger than average and I was in pain the whole time..eventually I just told him I couldn't anymore :/ Anyways, the sexual chemistry was not there as I was in pain and now I don't want to have sex with him again...has anyone been in this situation and has actually dumped a guy for being too big?

Thank you everyone for the answers! I actually do not understand the appeal of huge penises :(, I've thought about it and I will give this another chance...but if I can't handle it, I will have to end things... I'm not in love with him, so if its too big for me, well then I'm sure there is the perfect vagina out there for him that will appreciate it... :)

  • A guy I was friends with was well known for being "large." He loved to brag, and loved it when others bragged for him (some of is buddies were the crude, a-hole type). But one day he was talking to me about girls and admitted to me that he'd never had a girlfriend for more than 2 weeks, and though girls were often interested because of his reputation, many of them wouldn't even have sex with him after they saw him, and those that did rarely went a second round. He wanted a girlfriend so bad that he was willing to give up sex!

So, obviously, in some cases, yes, it happens.

And despite what some of the other folks have said, it IS more than possible for a guy to be "too big" for some girls. Some girls may have no problem with him, but just as there is variation in guy's size, there is also variation in girls' sizes too. And even though vaginas can stretch some, they can only go so far until there is pain. Don't feel bad if you don't want to have sex with him for that reason; you shouldn't have to be in pain.

    • Absolutely. Agreed. (I agree, from experience)

  • You have to understand, the women who have the vaginal size to accommodate these larger men are usually the most vociferous. These same women will also insinuate that all women share their preferences and vaginal size, basically, all women are the same size. They may do this so they don't appear to be different in a negative way. Who knows.

Women can experience pain from too much girth, but more likely from too much length. Although, I've known women who like to have their cervix bumped. For others, this can be painful. Or maybe they like the pain? I could be wrong, but I don't think a woman feels like she's giving birth when having a child even though they are capable of it.

  • I'm seeing someone and after the first time we had sex, mentally I felt like I didn't want to have sex for another month. I told him and at first he thought I was joking.

It's a mixture of pain and pleasure but the next day I feel like I can barely walk or sit. And when he's inside of me, he hits this spot that makes my entire body vibrate. It's similar to the feeling of hitting your funny-bone on something. Such an awkward feeling.

I haven't dumped him but I have told him that I don't think I can handle having sex with him as frequently as he wants.

I love to fantasize about his penis, but physically it's just too much.

  • I am really considering it.
I run every morning, and it is no fun running with an inflamed bladder because your bf is the size of a Coke can..
did y'all know that squats and leg presses strengthens the vaginal canal? so yes, 6 months later and it's still the same as day 1.
I agree with anonymous - the fantasy of is awesome, but the reality of a big penis is just something else...

  • Commincate, find out how you like to get aroused. Sometimes it takes longer to understand first emotionally before the physical comes in. How is he as a person?

  • No, I have not.

Yes, the sex is painful. But eventually you get used to it and it becomes pleasurable. You just have to relax, use plenty of lube, and give it more time.

  • No, I would not dump a guy solely because his penis was too big. If everything else was good, and he truly cared, then we would find another way to have sex that did not hurt me

  • ill bet that's the ONE excuse you could give a man for breaking up that he'd be actually happy about hearing.

    • Super happy for a mans ego haha

  • Women are built to accommodate the birth a child down south... How big are we talking? Gargantuan!?

    • doesn't mean you want to feel like you're giving birth every time you f***. youre 'built to accomodate' vomiting, its a very unpleasant feeling, however,

  • My last girlfriend and I broke up become of a few things but sex was one of them. See she is only 5 foot so everything being in proportion it boiled down to peg A was bigger than slot B.

My last friends with benefits was the same thing. Sex was painful no matter what position we were in.

  • I've been with big girls and petite girls. My penis is a bit over 7". I've never met a girl who couldn't stretch to take me in.

Only in p*rn are there guys too big for a woman.

  • HELL NO! I would marry his big penis ass quick :)

  • Did you try using a lot of lube or just the natural?

  • I know that @cocochanel did because she felt she was being ripped apart each time and was bleeding heavily. If I remember the person correctly.

    • thanks yeah

  • yeah, that's not why we broke up but I couldn't handle having sex with him...we prob would have broken up cause of it eventually though

  • I know a couple of girls who have done it. Not unheard of at all. Either take the plunge knowing what you are getting into, or bail before you develop feelings

  • Maybe Anal ?

  • me and i learned from it and run in terror at the sight of girth

  • Yay! There's hope for small guys at last!

  • Never happened to me before

  • I am big but not huge and I have never been dumped before. I have dumped girls before for being a dead fish in bed
