Have you ever been to a bathroom for the opposite gender?

I remember entering into the women's restroom once because it was a very dire emergency, and the men's room I went into had bees flying around and I didn't feel safe.

And if you've ever done it, what was your reason behind it? Was it a legitimate reason to go?

  • This is not unusual if there are only two RRs and they have locks on the door. The gals' room is simply choice #2 if locked out of the guys side and there are no gals waiting, you are "in need". The gals may give a look but it's all OK with a brief apology & explanation.

A bit dicy out on the golf course with no doors to lock - either a buddy is a lookout or you makes sure "the coast is clear", no people close enough to surprise you while doing your business ... the older guys take a bit longer, so they might opt for concealed places in bushes along the path.

I've had to stand guard outside for gals using the guys' room when the locks on the RRs have been broken & the gals' room flooded

  • Yeah, I had to f***ing clean them. Imagine that, I worked at Panera Bread. I had to go clean the bathrooms and then wipe down dining tables and handle people's trays and such. And let me tell you. Girls trash the sh*t out of their bathrooms. Toilet paper everywhere, on the floor, coming out of trashcans, against the walls, in the sink. And then the tampon boxes...I don't want to talk about it.

  • Yep. I somehow didn't notice that I put my contacts in the same eye (my eyesight is God awful) until I got to school. So, naturally, I walk into the wrong bathroom to fix my contacts. Most awkard moment ever when I stood there squinting at the guys using the urinals, wondering what the heck was going on in the girls bathroom.

  • I do it all the time at gas stations and places that have single bathrooms. If there's someone in the women's, the men's is pretty much the same thing. I also have gone in multiple stall men's rooms, but only if there's a long line for the women's and I'm in a hurry.

  • the women's bathroom is ALWAYS packed. I had to go really bad one day at an event and every single women's bathroom was a line and full so I walked right into the men's bathroom and used it. People seen but I didn't care I had to go bad

  • Been into the men's toilets at work because the females one had literal sh*t on the floor and the women were just opening and closing the door on it so it smeared on the floor. I'm glad my male store manager is a neat freak cause their restroom was clean and smelt good.

  • I just wanted to see what the inside was like..and...it's not very pleasant. -_-; lol

    • The Men's Room is not pleasant..always enjoyed the Ladies however! <3<3<3=D

    • =P bet you did

  • I have a coed bathroom at work with urinals and stalls. None of us care. Been into men's bathrooms to help people with medical problems.

  • I've gone into men's bathrooms before, at my old high school they were cleaner than the girls room and they never had a line to use em :)

  • many times when I really had to go but it was single bathroom not a whole bunch of em.

  • If you are a guy going to a womens room you could go to jail...

    • What if the men's room was out if order, and the women's room was open, and it was an emergency? How would you react?

    • Go somewhere else...In Texas you very well might go to jail

    • Just so you know, in some states the law is that people may enter the opposite gender's bathroom if helping a handicapped person. I am not sure of the wording in Oregon, but I believe a handicapped person with a caretaker of the opposite gender can enter either bathroom. Plus adults are always bringing children (of older ages than you might expect) of the opposite gender into the bathrooms. At a wild animal park in California, women were always entering the men's restroom because of lines.

  • i did. but its because the male restroom had some problem so it couldn't be used. people around didn't mind. this has happened many times. I couldn't use male restrooms in other locations for the same and different reasons. I was lucky because the women restrooms I entered were more fragrant.

  • yeah I was in a restaurant and they were single person ones and I really had to go and the female room was locked
