Have you ever had pity sex with somebody for any reason? If yes, why?

I just gave a girl some pity sex. She had a crush on me years ago and found me on Facebook and then begged to hang out with me again. I told her straight up I'm not looking for a relationship so she knows that. To be honest I'm not really attracted to her that much but she kept trying to make out with me so I gave in and one thing led to another and we had sex. I think I would have hurt her feelings more if I completely denied her than giving her what she wanted physically. She is so nice and sweet I just couldn't say no to her but I did keep telling her I'm not ready for a relationship.

Hahaha, this is the funniest thing I might've ever read on here. Sadly, I too had "pity sex" with someone at one point. I was in an abusive relationship, and found solace in talking to this guy I knew from middle school (on Facebook -- breeding ground for "pity sex"? haha)... this guy had joined the military, and was serving a tour in Iraq, and although I found him physically unattractive I had a full-blown emotional relationship this guy for a few weeks while I was dealing with breaking up with the abusive guy.

The "army guy" came home on leave, and although I found him repulsive physically... I ended up getting really drunk, and having sex with him. HUGE regret. The worst part is that we did it 2 or 3 times while he was in town... got drunk a few nights in a row.. made some (disgusting) decisions. I stopped talking to him after that... the whole thing just grosses me out. I guess how nice he was made me feel good... especially considering the AWFUL situation I had just gotten out of...

I know that looks aren't EVERYTHING, but you NEED physical attraction for ANY relationship to work out. Not to sound conceited, but I'm definitely on the "hot" end of the spectrum.. and shouldn't have been having pity sex with anyone. I've got an EXTREMELY sexy husband now, and there will NEVER be "pity sex" in my life EVER again.. lol

I don't think it's demeaning to give it, it's like a gift, you give yourself to somebody you know wants you really bad so that they can be satisfied.

It is OK for you, it is not for me. I find it the most demeaning, humiliating, and utterly disrespectful thing to have done to you or to do to someone. I may look like an ugly disgusting POS but there are lines in the sand I shall never cross, being part of pity sex is one of them. That is something far beneath me.
