Help! I've been having gay dreams / fantasies lately, what does it mean?

I've always considered myself str8 but lately I've been having a lot of guy-on-guy fantasies. Does this make me gay, bi, or curious? I've never had sex, I'm in my 20's, and I've never had a date with anyone. Is there a way to tell if I'm def into guys? Any advice would be helpful. Have any guys acted on this and regretted it? Girls how do you feel about this?

I somewhat agree with BruceJender, I can look at a man and think, wow he's got a great body but I don't find it sexually arousing. If you do find it sexually arousing then maybe you are Bisexual, it may also mean that you are going through some personal stuff that is making you question your sexuality.

If you are having gay dreams it doesn't mean you are gay. Homosexual dreams are common for straight men and women and they usually mean something completely different than you are this or that.

I think we all know deep down what we are or are not. If you have strong feelings and are fighting against them then you know that whichever way you are fighting is probably the way you lean towards.

But it doesn't matter if you are gay, straight bi or anything else, it matters who you are as a person and you are awesome.

I agree with RedRain that labels are confusing, and the best way to find out if you are attracted to men is trying to have sex at least once with a man to see the experience. You don't have to be attracted to men in public to discover your attraction, I don't think man-to-man attraction works that way, at least it has not been for me.

After some years of straight life, I have finally given in to my gay fantasies, and found out that is really what I have wanted all along. I define myself as gay now, but things could turn out differently for other people, including you. However, one thing is for sure, these fantasies won't go away. So, you may want to experiment in a safe environment and see for yourself what you prefer.

Maybe you are attracted to guys as well. Don't rush into putting yourself a label: straight, homosexual, bi, etc. Labels aren't really useful.
What is important is that you ackowledge what your fantasies are. If you're confused I think the only way to know if you're into guys, girls or both is to experience being with them.

I've read your update. So if what you really want is to be with a girl, then go for it. The point is that you don't freak out with your fantasies, and that if you ever want to experiment with your same sex, there's nothing wrong with that.

Whoa. I have thought about this more and the fact is I wouldn't seriously consider it because I just don't feel as strongly about guys as I do about girls. As I mentioned, I don't feel the desire to kiss them, etc. I've been working really hard lately, a little depressed, and my mind is probably frazzled.

As a bi girl I can tell you that it's what attracts you. Ask yourself those questions: Could I seriously imagine myself dating a guy? Having sex with a guy? If the answer is yes, you might be bi or gay. There is no real way to really know. Deep inside you feel what you are in time. Don't worry too much about it.

It could just be a random thing if you're not attracted to guys otherwise. I've never been attracted to girls at all but have had lesbian sex dreams. I have no idea why.
