um this is dumb I know, but are areoles the part around the nipple, or the nipple- cause the name sounds the way nipples look, unless it is like areoles are the are - AROUND the nipple- ok I can't answer unless I know what it is... I have looked it up, but it wasn't clear & I asked here but someone just said - you have never had sex have you, or eve made out... Uhh, point being lol

Most creams with Hydroquinone say to keep away from the areolas,as those areas are sensitive,but you could try in low doses and see if you ever see results,but it could take 6-8 weeks to see little if any results.

Not being PC . . . this is LITERALLY not something that most people have ANY distaste for. Google "dark areolas" and there's tons more sites with pics saying things like "beautiful dark areolas" than anything critical of them.
