Lol well it does make a difference if you and him have been talking sexy or about other stuff.  If it's been sexy stuff then yeah he'd lose the conversation sometimes or pause to do stuff to himself lol and you should hear him breathe a little louder with shorter breaths and stuff like that. You'd definitely be able to tell if he was successful by the pause and the different way he'd talk.
