How common is a weak pelvic floor in a 17 year old girl? And does a weak pelvic floor mean a looser vagina?

I'm 17. Never been pregnant. I do kegels sometimes. I've only had one sexual partner. So when I was little, I would notice that when I would pee, after I wiped myself and stood up, a little bit of pee would dribble out again. I was like 11. This happened for a while and then it went away as I got older. But the other night, I was sick and I was sneezing and coughing really bad, I did NOT need to per when I was sneezing, but I felt like I wet my pants. I didn't know if it was pee or if it was vaginal discharge, but I still wet my pants a little. Now I'm paranoid. I've heard of this thing called a weak pelvic floor. But it usually doesn't affect young girls like me.. on the internet, it said it was most common in women who have gone through child birth or have gotten older. It also said that young girls usually have good muscles down there. And I've also heard that when you pee and you can stop and start the flow easily, then it means your muscles are good. I can do this pretty good for the most part. Does it sound like I have a weak pelvic floor? I don't see how I could since I'm so young and never given birth. And does a weak pelvic floor mean that you have a looser vagina?

  • First of all, looking for health problems online is a bad thing because that's what makes you paranoid. Talk to your mum about it first to see if she knows anything, if not go see a doctor just to be sure everything is ok down there. I'm a guy so I don't really know if it means if you have a loose vagina but I don't think so

    • Would it mean that the muscles in my vagina aren't as strong as they should be?

    • I think it is just the muscles between your uterus and your vagina. I don't think it's the actual muscles in your vagina

    • There is one good thing about it tho

  • Well, i am not a doctor but i would say you should not worry to much, if you are really worried go to the doctor and ask him about it.
I do not think that because of this your vagina would be looser

    • My boyfriend has called my vagina loose as a joke. I got offended and he said it was only a joke. I can only fit two of his fingers in there. And my vagina makes him cum easily. There was a period over the summer where he just could not cum during penetration, but he said it was because he masturbated very frequently and we saw each other pretty much every day. He couldn't cum with me all summer, but now that we're in school, we see each other on the weekends and it doesn't take him long to get off. Either my vagina was bad before or he just masturbated too much. He gets off with me now.. what could this mean?

    • I think it could be the way he masturbates... i had the same problem for a while... but it went better after changing the way i've done.

    • So my vagina probably wasn't bad before since he can cum so easily with me now?
