How do I apply sunblock on my penis at a nude beach??

My friend just told me she saw some guy getting a little too excited applying sunblock on his penis at the nude beach. Since that is the last place I would want a burn, what do I do about applying sunblock there? Especially when you consider just how much you have to rub the stuff in to make it last a few minutes of swimming. Thoughts?

I'm not worried about being excited, I'm worried about what people would think about me rubbing cream deep into my penis multiple times (after swimming or just prolonged periods in the sun). Is this normal? I've never been, but no men do this while everyone is watching?

I buy the spray can sunscreen and simply spray it all over my penis and pubic area so that I don't have to rub it in at all. Far more convenient.
