You knew what you were getting when you were dating her, so expect her first reaction to be "WTF? He knows my wardrobe, why does he now want provocative? Why not just *date* provocative when he had the chance?" It's a fair question, prepare to answer it.
So really, the best you can do is encourage her when she considers a provocative direction. IF she goes in a provocative direction; if she doesn't, you signed up for this, and could see this coming.
Note to all: If you want it, date it; Don't date something else and expect to change it into what you want. Never, ever works.
Yea I never wear shorts or short skirts and it would kind of make me really uncomfortable if I was dating a guy who was like why can't you dress more provocatively. I go through phases and I used to wear things that were a bit more revealing before we met. but lately I'm just comfortable wearing things that are serious- it sort of help me concentrate. anyways id probably dump the guy- its extra stress I don't need and its not like I don't have taste & I dress the same way I did when we met so.. yea.
theres a good chance that she doesn't wear sexy things because she isn't confortable with the way she looks. try to make her feel more beautiful and she might loosen up a bit
Or she could like the way she looks in the cloths she wears. some people just dress how they feel comfortable not because they don't like how they look. I don't think you can make someone feel beautiful. maybe boost their ego for a time , but it'll wear off unless its genuine.
Well I know for a while I never really told my girlfriend how beautiful I thought she was for a while... I allways just took it for granted and assumed she knew I loved her looks. but then I started saying it more (I have social problems and have a hard time complimenting anyone for anything) and she actuall started feeling better about herself (she allways hated how she looked)
Take her shopping and choose some things for her, she can try them - in exchange she can also make some suggestions (if she has some) for you (maybe she thinks that you also need some sexy underwear).
I dunno, you can also suggest it as some kind of roleplay...just make a suggestion and talk to her about it. See how she feels about it...I don't think that she will turn you down, just don't make it sound like she has to dress like that all the time or that she has to change herself for you, it is all about trying something new and maybe doing you a favour.

I dress conservatively. But I'm starting to open up a little more. I'm actually getting a fairly... uh... revealing halloween costume, just for my boyfriend. I would normally never, EVER, consider that. The only reason why is because he took so much time convincing me that I AM beautiful, even though I can't see it. I feel more comfortable in my own skin because of him. Try the same with her. But don't expect instant results. It takes time... took my boyfriend over a year to accomplish this.
If you have been together for a long time, you should sit down and talk to her about it. She may not feel comfortable dressing in public the way you want, but you can try to get her to dress up just for you when you are alone with her. Just remind her of how beautiful you think she is.
