Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do to end it any faster. However, I've found from past experiences, that when you're turned on, you temporarily stop bleeding. So you might not be able to do the whole greeting him at the door, depending on how bad your periods are on the last day, but having sex in general should be fine and without much mess. Though it's best that you stay on the bottom & do mostly variants of missionary, just to be safe.
I use to have sex all the way through my period (minus the first day due to cramps ). My partner use to put a condom on and I use to put a dark sheet or towel down underneath me.
You can do various positions too; doggy, missionary and cowgirl. The blood never leaks out until u pull out...
But I always put the sheet down just in case.

Do it in the shower. You temporarily stop bleeding while you bath. Or exercise. Try steering away from sweets and drink plenty of water!
just put a towel under your back and do it. it helps with the cramps too
