Thanks for all the comments. I don't use cheap razors to the ones that are assuming this. I use men's razor the expensive one. I've tried everything. Thanks again though.

  • Fresh sharp razor, wash area with soap, then use shaving cream made for the bikini area, body wash or hair conditioner to shave with. Use witchhazel wipes as a mildly anti-microbial astringent after shaving. But do know that the pubic area, because it is less exposed to air and is a high friction area, may ALWAYS be prone to bumps, rashes and ingrowns. You really have no obligation to shave your pubic hair if it always produces irritation to do so. It actually serves a protective hygienic purpose.

I use this product it's a shaving oil and it's seriously sooo good! I have no razor burn or bumps after using it and it's smells pretty good too. I don't have to use any sort of product after to relieve itching or anything because it leaves my skin soo smooth! Even in my bikini area which is nearly impossible to get really smooth lol but it works so well!

  • The esthetician i talked to said to use coconut oil after to prevent bumps. It happens with waxing too. We carry a lot of germs on our hands, so try not to touch the area very much ~24 hrs after shaving, and if you do, clean hands!! Sometimes bumps can form from ingrown hairs as well, so you can use a little mirror to look at the bumps and make sure thats not the issue (fix that by popping/pulling the hair out).

  • I have sensitive skin as well. I use Noxema brand bikini shavers (the ones with the tiny little plastic fingers that prevent the blade from contacting the skin) and (very important) unscented shave cream. This combination does not cause bumps.

  • You could get sugaring done it's sorta like waxing but it's with this sugar goop instead of wax, that I've heard it even hurts less than waxing. Or you can get laser done if you don't like the idea of the sugar goop. To relieve razor burn there is this product from lush to help with razor burn. Also I use shaving cream for sensitive skin.

  • Men's after shave... works smells good, even if it burns some... still you will get some redbumps and ingrown hairs shaving.

I prefer to use Nair.. takes a couple days to stop being red, but I am totally smooth...

    I dont like wax either...

  • I haven't tried it but I read that using hair conditioner and a men's face razor on your bikini area reduces razor bumps. Also, don't shave every day.

  • I use dove sensitive skin with moisturizer when I shave, works pretty well. If I get a little razor burn after I put aloe on it and it soothes really nice and takes the redness out.

  • Do shave while in a hot steamy shower? With the grain? A fresh quality triple blade razor and good quality shave gel?

  • So this may sound kind of weird, but sometimes putting deodorant on the bumps/razor burn really helps and soothes it.

  • Your razor is too dull. Use a good quality (non-cheap) razor and change the blade fairly often.

There are also several brands of good moisturizing lotions for sensitive skin that you can use when you get out of the shower.

    • Even expensive razors cam be dull

    • I changed the razor, I used a new one. I don't know... whatever. I have sensitive skin and I doubt anything will help. Thank you

  • Buy men's razors. Use hot water (opens up the pores) and shaving cream or even better: hair conditioner. Completely dry yourself when you're done and use talc. Use something like coconut oil the next day to moisturise.
