no, not really awkward but I believe the tension can be diffused if both parties take it cool. If I don't like the guy, I just pretend not to notice it. But if I really like the guy and I feel that he's hard when we hug, I kind of get turned on by it and I become really aware that the only thing separating my naked body from that boner is two thin layers of clothing (mine and his) and sometimes if I really, really, really like the guy, feeling his boner against me makes me wonder what it would feel like inside me.
