We've had sex for the first time 5,5 months into our relationship. 2 months later, I suggested to give him a blowjob. He agreed but only asked me for it a few times later. He insisted to put on a condom, which kinda surprised me as I know that girls can't get pregnant from swallowing sperm. I'm his first and only partner and so is he, I take the pill and we don't any any STDs. My boyfriend doesn't even allow me me lick him down there without a condom, claiming that it's not safe. Should I clear up the subject with him? I'm pretty sure it's risk-free considering our situation, right?

it sounds like he has been mis-educated about STDs and possibly pregnancies - probably a church thing (abstinence propaganda is rampant in some churches), though public schools in deeply religious districts can be just as bad.

You can try to re-educate him, if you'd like - but chances are he won't believe you until he hears it from some sort of authority. For now, you can tease him into having an interest in finding out - while blowing him and before he comes, tell him you want to suck on his sperm and slosh it around in your mouth with your tongue while continuing to squeeze his penis with your lips. That sort of thing should excite him into finding evidence that it is safe to do so. Confirmation bias can work both ways!

He may say he is clean to you, and you may say you are clean to him, but that doesn't mean that both of you actually are! People don't tell the truth all the time and he can't be absolutely sure you are telling the truth.

So that is why it is safer for him to wear a condom!

You (or he) can have one of the many strains of HPV that you picked up from non-sexual means (although you can still pass it between yourselves even with a condom).

Either of you could have any of the versions of Herpes, that you got from kissing or other non-sexual means (or sexual).

Use the condom. He'll be plenty sensitive as it is.

Your second choice would be for both of you to get tested, I don't know how much it would cost, but if he won't tell you his reasonings, it would be a good idea just to be safe :)

Well if he's really clean then he shouldn't have a problem not using a condom.
