I lied about not being a virgin

I was worried that he would be unhappy with having an inexperienced girl so instead, I told him I slept with 5 guys out of panic when he asked me how many guys that I had been with. I don't know why I chose that number. It was stupid and now after 4 months of continuously telling him this I wish I could just tell him he's my one and only. He has even voiced how he wished that I had been a virgin when we met, and I've made him feel bad for making me feel like a slut for sleeping with 5 guys. I feel awful. guys, if this happened to you would you think the girl was a crazy liar and break up with her? in other words, should I come clean with him? Or is he gonna break up with me if I do?

This guy doesn't sound great to me. I would be suspicious of any guy who said 'i wish you were a virgin', because:

1.) It's offensive and hypocritical to say, unless he's a virgin.

2.) He has something to hide. It's either being bad at sex, or he just wants to f*** without protection, because obviously, you'll not have any STIs, and unless he's been tested, you shouldn't have sex with him without a condom.

3.) He has some interesting views about women, ones that you'll be surprised to find out. And it won't be a nice surprise.

Basically: a male who has a fear of being compared to other sexual partners that the female had = he is sh*t in bed.

To be perfectly honest, his comment was insensitive, but you shouldn't have lied. It's very unlikely that he'll even be able to tell that you're a virgin when you first have sex. There's no difference between how girls' feel on the 'inside' when they are virgins vs experienced. The only way he could tell is that if you were being extremely clumsy.

If you're really upset about lying to him, just come clean. I doubt he'll dump you.

I did the exact same thing , I told this one guy I was seeing I slept with 4 older guys,

and when we broke he told everyone and now everyone thinks I'm a HUGE slut even though I'm a virgin.

Best thing to do is just come clean .It's better than being known as the town bike ,trust me.

If he breaks up with you over that then he's not worth it . Who knows he might find you bring a virgin as a big turn on.

I think you should definitely tell him. Chances are he'll be more relieved than mad about you lying. 99% of guys would much rather have a virgin than a girl who is experienced and has been with other guys. Explain to him why you said what you said but be prepared for the possibility of him not believing you. If he breaks up with you after you telling him then he obviously doesn't deserve you.

If a girl would honestly tell me a whole story, I would understand her, hug her and have a good laugh with her.

Come clean. If he's going to break up with you after hearing the truth, he's simply stupid. Sure those were lies, but come on, it ain't that serious.

That's nothing too serious. If you told him you were a foreign secret agent living a double life, that would be pretty major. Just sit him down and tell him the truth and why you did it. I'm sure he'll understand because you all have been together for 4 months now.

That's a pretty forgivable lie, especially if it was told out of a desire to impress him rather than to deceive him. Just explain it to him the way you did here. If he's such a d*** that he breaks up with you over that, you picked a lemon anyway.

Tell him, he'd be more upset if you told him you where a virgin but had actually slept with people rather than the other way around.
