I love you during sex?

What does that mean when guys say "I love you" during sex? I hear some people say it means he really loves you, and I hear some people say it means he loves the sex he's having with you...well?

Uh...hello! It's SEX. guys say damn near anything complimentary(?) during sex. Sometimes it's not even great sex, just good sex. So be glad. It's a compliment in a way. At least you know you aren't terrible at sex. You're better than average or good. But I wouldn't put much credit in what he says during sex.

there's not a hard and fast rule here. totally would depend on the situation. some guys would say it just about the sex . . . some it's legitimate . . . if he ONLY says it during sex, I'd say that's a problem.

Having sex messes with your brain, and makes you feel all sorts of things. If he only says it during sex, he's saying it as a result of some crazy neurons going off in his head.

i say it sometimes but when I say it means I love the guy, not the sex. but he's got to say it outside of the bedroom to make it mean he loves u, not just the sex.

It would depend on the situation. You can`t really know- that`s why people don`t recommend saying "I love you" for the first time during or right after sex.

If he says it during other times, it's probably genuine. If he only says it during sex, and not during other times, then maybe he just loves the sex.

It just means that he was really appreciating you, at that moment. It's no guarantee of anything down the road of course.

emotions run really high during intercourse, both guys and girls have their brains flooded with chemcials that make them feel a snes of euphoria and affection. But, hey that doesn't mean he wasn't serious, there's just no way to tell. I would say if you're in a bitter fight with a guy, and it hasn't been resolved and you're still arguing but he says he still loves you...thats when you can be sure that he means it.

He might have said that in while enjoying the moment. Don't take it for its literal meaning (though it might be true) - it obviously got you involved better in the act, didn't it?

I don't think that would be a good idea. There are some things you just don't ask- because what choice does he have, if he doesn't want to hurt your feelings? If you`re in a position to wonder, that means you`re in a position where it COULD be true. Which means he will probably feel obligated to cover his slip (if that is indeed what it was) with a lie. I feel that forcing people to answer that type of thing is only inviting dishonesty into the relationship.
