if you are worried so much... then you can give him couple of height enhancers and supplements during his growth..
its not necessary your kids can be more then six... the rule of dominant gene says the better gene survives...
hence you should not worry about it.. my suggestion is do not use sperm bank... you will fight harder and naturally be more affectionate when you know the kid is part of you1 0 0 0I agree, the sperm bank was his idea. I was up for it if he wants to. What do you mean by the better genes survives? Not sure nature can tell which genes is better before birth except with natural selection, but that doesn't happen anymore (or at least I believe so)
It happens.. And dominant gene survives.. And recessive gets suppressed
How tall were both of your parents/grandparents?
Do either of you have tall siblings, or cousins? Just because you're short, doesn't necessarily mean your kids automatically will be.1 0 0 0my family is average height, his is on the shorter side.
Hmmm, then they probably won't be basketball players, but that's alright. Surely you'd rather have children that were genetically yours and his, rather than from a donor? Even going that route, there's still no guarantee that they would be tall, anyway.
He offered to use sperm donor, since usually sperm donors have height requirement so they got ''tall genes'' but as you said, I guess there is no guarantee.

So no. Your kids can still be tall and to be honest why would you not want kids just cause they have a higher probability of being short like even if you did the sperm bank your kids could still end up being short.. you do realize that right?
1 0 0 0I believe most sperm bank have height requirement for donors, so the probabilities would be lessen for the kids to be short.
Genetics are from more than just your parents. It’s from your parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and so on. They may or may not be short.

3 17They will be short, yes. Probably 5‘0“ to 5‘7“ depending on their gender and other factors.
But just accept it, no need to genetically modify.1 0 1 0Likely.
1 0 0 0So you are short people... not that bad. Your kids will probably be short too unless you have tall people in the family tree, in which case, your offspring might get those genes.
I am 5'7" and the only problems I have are trying to see the stage in a crowd and that most women want tall men. And clothes for men tend to be larger.0 0 0 0We don't have tall people in our family, mines kinda average-shorter side. I guess there isn't that many cons to being short. My boyfriend is a lot shorter (5'2) and kinda hate it for plenty of reasons, but I guess that's really different from being 5'7
I am still a small man in height. If I could I would be taller, like 5'10" or taller. But it is what it is, so I don't fret over it... just finding a petite woman who would be interested. That I fret over.
Probably. Comes down to both of you parents and aunts and uncles, as well. There's no way to tell.
1 0 0 0No. If anyone in your (or his) family is tall, it can be pasted down, even if the parents are both short.
1 0 0 0I guess we are doomed then lol
It can be from any generation. I'm sure someone is somewhere in there lol
