I'm scared to have sex because I don't want to get pregnant. There have been a few times where I almost did but it didn't go that far. My best friend (that I have feelings for) and I were talking about things we have done and he told me that he has had sex before but was scared after because he wasn't sure if the girl got pregnant or not and I asked him what he would do if he ever got someone pregnant and he said that he would take care of the baby. I want to have sex with him but I'm so scared that I will get pregnant, I'm not exactly sure what to do.

NEVER have sex with a guy without a condom ! not enless your married of course but you got to worry about std's as well . IF your a virgin and your really wanting to go all the way then its prob a good idea to get on some birth control but even on that you still have to use condoms to . OK well I'm sure you knew all that but I had to say it becuase its so important.

Im wondering if maybe the whole ( I'm scared to get preg thing) is just your way of backing off when things get to far . if your still scared about sex or affraid to do it then maybe your just not ready to handle it yet . sex is a very big deal its nothing to take lightly and once you do it you can't go back . every one is a little nerv. there first time and that is normal but please don't do it just to do it ... that was the whole reason I did it my first time when I was 16 , I wasn't even into the guy that much I just did it to be having sex and I so regret it .

OK AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS TO .. you said you asked him what he would do if he ever got a girl preg and he said he would take care of the baby ... OMG EVERY guy is going to say that but then when it happens less then half ever really do . enless he already has his OWn house , car and good paying job then there is no way he could really handle that responsibilty either could you .

If you really want to have sex with him then you need to use condoms each and every time and you should be OK .. key word condoms condoms and more condoms ... don't let him say OH I WILL JUST PULL OUT .. that is a bunch of crap that's a good way to get preg so don't trust that at all .. and if you are to shy to go in the store and buy condoms yourself then your not ready for sex

Thats weird that you knew he has a good paying job, apartment, and car. He's my best friend, I know that he will be one to not leave if he gets anyone pregnant.

Use protection and download a app to track your period It will predict obviously when your period should come and ovulation days which is when you are fertile , those days you are fertile are the days you CAN get pregnant DO NOT HAVE SEX THOSE DAYS! As for the rest of the days your good to do what you want.

I was 20 when I "lost" my virginity. I waited til I was ready to do it. You can take birth control pills or use a condom or both. I've never used a diaphram or NuvaRing but have friends who say they are ok.

Do that, and you'll have a better chance of getting hit by random space junk falling out of the sky than you will of getting pregnant.

i think if you are so scared you are not ready to have sex. maybe you are just scared in general. but it is not an invalid reason to wait for sex. when you are ready you won't have doubts.

it's not normal. the pill is 99.9% effective and countless girls out there have sex without getting pregnant when they use birth control properly.

besides even if you did get pregnant, you can always get an abortion.

thats easy for someone to say ( you can get an abortion ) but enless your the one who has been preg and had to make that awful choice to do that then you have no idea what your talking about . you have no idea how bad you feel after and even before you do something like that . that is the most immature advice I have ever seen . if you think getting preg. and just getting a abortion is no big deal then you don't need to have sex at all . For some girls, it seems like a pretty easy thing. One of my girlfriend's friends has had six of them. But that's seriously not normal, IMO. Most women, I think, would take it a lot more seriously.

I will not ever get an abortion, my sister was going to try and get one when she was pregnant with my niece and it was the worst thing ever to hear, I'm glad she didn't. I am very against abortion.
