The only way to find out is going to the doctor and get tested. I'm not sure how it works where you live, but in Norway you can go to the doctor without your parents if you're 16 years old or older.

You doesn't get aids so fast. The first things that's happening is that you gets a virus called HIV. It takes some time before it developing to aids. If you have only HIV and not aids yet you can go on medications so you doesn't get sick and you can live a very normal life. The only thing is that you needs them rest of your life and that you needs protected sex in order to avoid infecting other with the virus. HIV is contagious through sex.

I know someone who has developed AIDs. He was extremely sick and weak and was in hospital for a long time, so unless you are extremely sick and weak and need to go to the hospital you don't have aids.

HIV comes before AIDs, which a virus that attacks your immune system. AIDs is essentally a totally compromised immune system where any sort of infections can no longer be fought off.

  I know lol because aids is a virus so it attacks the helper t cells otherwise called as immune system for our health... so if you want to kill those viruses you have to kill your immune system... and a person without immune system cannot survive even a hours that's why it's not like we can kill the virus but we will kill those helper T cells in that way... so cure is not an option.
