  • It depends, is this your first time using a tampon? Here’s some advice that might help!

    FIRST TIMER:

The first time is the worst time. If you have never used a tampon (and you haven’t had sex yet) then it will hurt your body isn’t used to having objects "stuck" into it. After you insert them in a couple times it should get more comfortable. If it doesn’t you may be one of those people who can’t use them and that’s fine! When you do feel comfortable with them you won’t notice a thing. As for sex that is a different story!

    SEX:

If you have never had sex it is something to look forward to with warning! The first time is well the worst time. Your body is or may be used to a tampon but a penis is about 10+x the size of a tampon so it is going to hurt WAY more. After the first time it will hurt less and less and feel more like the wonderful sex you always hear about.

    DURING SEX:

When you are on your period there is somewhat of a lubricant (the blood) that helps insert the tampon in easier. When you have sex your body produces this hormone that helps the penis slid in easier. That’s because it's a lubricant. This is produced when you have an orgasm. (You don’t usually have an orgasm when you’re just putting a tampon in, or at least you shouldn't be having one!) So foreplay is needed a lot! Also when you have sex you cervix moves back so that you can fit the whole penis in or at least most of the way in! My conclusion, don’t worry about not being able to use a tampon now you should be fine after a couple ries. As for sex don’t worry about that either. If you feel you need to be on the safe side, buy extra lub. It helps it be less painful in the end. Although lubricant won’t help when the hymen breaks! (that is the source of most of the pain.) If you have any more questions hit me up! :) hope this helped a little!

  • One of the differences between putting a tampon and sex is, during the later you're exited, lubricated, so the member won't find the same resistance.

There are also positions and exercises that would help you out when the time comes.

But, I would definitely recommend you visit a gynecologist if you're thinking about having sex.. yes the first time you go there you will feel uncomfortable, but it's just the first time... and it could prevent a lot of problems and headaches in the future. The doctor will be able to tell you if your vagina if tighter than expected and recommend those exercises and positions I mentioned...

    • good advice.

  • well sweety when you put a tampon in you have to put it in where it feels like nothings there not to deep but not hanging out in the tampon boxes they have directions

and sex hurts a litle at first so use a lot of lube it may help

  • Putting in a tampon shouldn't hurt, unless your hymen hasn't been broken. Make sure you are closely following the instructions. I know this can be awkward, but ask your mom or sister if you are doing it right. Also, you are probably putting the tampon in without any natural lubrication. When you are aroused, the lubrication will be created and reduce friction. And like that girl said, go to a doctor just to make sure,

  • HELLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHHH it feels like a knife going in your p****

    • well that's encouraging :P

    • lmfao.

  • well sweety when you put a tampon in you have to put it in where it feels like nothings there not to deep but not hanging out in the tampon boxes they have directions

  • depends on why it's hurting? if you're putting the tampon in wrong, then... yeah.. but if it's internal pain, then it'll probably hurt during sex as well.

    • that is a good point to make you may need to see a doctor if there is a persistant internal pain! this could mean you have endometriosis. This is a disease that makes your period, tampon insertation and sex so painful that you may end up crying! some people have to get surgery to remove all those parts just so that they can be "normal" and not have to go throught that again!

  • the first time yes, but that's just because your vagina isn't used to the feeling and the hymen has to be broken
