If I masturbate often, will I be less wet when I have sex with my boyfriend?

So most times when we're having sex, I'm very wet. But every once in a while... I notice that I'm not as wet as I'd like to be. Like it would just be more comfortable if I was more wet. Anyways, we always have plenty of foreplay so that's not the issue. If I masterbate every night let's say, would that make me any less turned on or wet when I'm with him? Don't get me wrong, whenever we make-out and start fooling around, I'm always horny but sometimes I'm just not wet enough... And using lube is just kinda weird to me. I'd rather not. Thanks!

  • I get super wet, most guys are surprised how wet I get. Not that I'm sleeping around with many guys or anything but the 3 I've been with I mean. I always just thought it was normal to get that wet but I guess most don't anyways I sorta feel if I masturbate I won't get as wet for sex like your saying. I think for me it's I masturbate and then that cures my sexual craving and although I still want sex I'm not as into it as I would have been if I didn't masturbate. Now I try to not masturbate when I know I'm gonna have sex so that way I'll be fully into it and be able to get super wet. I don't know if your in a relationship or with like a friends with benefits but with my past friends with benefits it was always sorta random when we'd meet so hard to say when it would be ok to masturbate and when we'd have sex but now with my boyfriend it's a little more predictable to know when we'll be having sex and not so that helps a lot too.

    • I definitely know what you're talking about! I have a boyfriend so I have an Idea too of when we'll have sex. How often do you do it?

    • Usually 2-3 times a week sometimes more

  • Bit sure if masturbating would make it more or less (maybe it would help to get you more horny if you refrain). However, every woman goes through a cycle and some parts of this féminin cycle are dryer than others. I think that's what you're dealing with. It's mostly before period I think, but you should chart your own observations of your cycle to be in sync with your body. Or at least look up the typical cycle of wet/dry days for women. I'm usually familiar with mine.

  • Masturbation will not stop you from getting wet during sex. Masturbation will not effect your sex life in anyway. Unless you use vibrator on your clit too much and it reduces sensitivity but it comes back.

How wet you are isn't always just influenced by how horny you are. Don't be weirded out by using lube. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with you. Doesn't mean you're not horny.

  • This such an amazing thing. Please do not worry your very lucky , guys absolutely love vaginal wetness. Never feel that it is in any way negative. It's scent and feel an your hands , mouth or penis feels amazing when added to the warmth and soft sensual feminine flesh.. most guys will tell you more is better. You may just be lucky enough to be a gusher. It's close to squirting but you ooze lots of vaginal fluid due to be very turned on by having a penis thrusting in you.

Please don't try to stop it be proud and grateful that you body rewards your lover by showing him how much your enjoying having sex with him.

  • I think three factors have basically even influences:

    (1) Personal Biology: some girls get wetter than others naturally
    (2) Hydration: how well hydrated you are as well as things that cause water retention such as medication or alcohol
    (3) how turned on you are with that particular sexual experience

Each one will influence your level of wetness and whether you mastrebate or not does not matter unless it is not being replenished with water or lowers your libido. However, as a long term consistent thing, it usually helps

  • Perhaps your fantasies while self serving are more fulfilling than the real deal

  • I don't think you masturbating or not is the issue. Your wetness likely varies due to where you are at in your monthly cycle. It definitely affects the viscosity of your vaginal fluids, so I am sure it affects the amount produced.

  • Every night is not that much for someone as young as you. Should not be a problem.

  • On the contrary, it will enable you to lubricate more.

  • I don't think so

  • Nah.

  • I have had the same issue and I am not trying to scare you but I was recently diagnosed with Sjorgen's pronounced as (Show grins.) It's an autoimmune condition that causes your own body to attack its own moisture glands including the Bartholin glands in the entrance of your vagina. It also makes your eyes dry as well as your mouth. There is a blood test to rule it out. I just thought it would be worth it to mention it.
