Love, girls close eyes a lot more during sex (when they're enjoying it), because they are more for the senses, so they close eyes to concentrate on them.
Guys usually keep them open longer, because they are a lot more visual, and they only close it when they're REALLY enjoying it and close to orgasm.

It's a pretty normal thing for guys and girls... I wouldn't worry about such a little thing. It could be for any number of reasons.
It really doesn't really mean anything in particular when a guy closes his eyes. It could be any of those things. Or it could also be that he was nervous or self conscious and felt more comfortable not looking at you watching him. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it.
He isn't thinking of someone else :P I do this sometimes, but usually I prefer to keep eye contact with the girl, if it's more intimate. He's probably just getting caught up in the moment and is picturing your entire body in his head, not just the face.
