Im not sure if I got pregnant, what do you guys think?

Well, me and my boyfriend were messing around and stuff and he was rubbing his penis around my vagina, he didn't ejaculate anything, but I'm still paranoid and nervous that I got pregnant or something. What do you guys think? :(

  • First off, UNDER SIXTEEN'S, DON'T READ ANY FURTHER!

It is possible for pregnancy to occur after not having had sex at all. It's called a 'splash pregnancy' and, as you can tell, it's from him ejaculating even without your having had penetration. It's not common, but it is possible. Okay, I'm not trying to get you all hysterical, so here's a little info for you.

Number one: He didn't ejaculate, so it's unlikely you're pregnant. There is a small amount of sperm that can be released before his main ejaculation in a 'pre-cum'. He most likely would have felt even that, had he had the start of his orgasm. As he didn't, it's unlikely it was there.

Number two: There are around five hundred million sperm in a guy's semen after not having masturbated in a few days. That's rather a lot, wouldn't you say? Okay, here's a little info about your vagina. The natural lubricant in there is actually slightly acidic. That is NOT the best place for sperm to be. The boys are slaughtered by their millions! IT'S MASS GENOCIDE!!! Of the sperm (during fully penetrative intercourse) that usually make it into or around the cervix (the little 'hole' at the back of the vagina that leads to the uterus) only a few thousand may make it through. Then they have a long way to travel, and it's still unlikely that they will get there. The female orgasm is designed to be more than something that has your toes curling, though. It has a reproductive purpose (apart from getting you back for more) too. What happens internally is that the muscular contractions within the vagina actually try to help move the semen, and therefore the boys too, further upward towards the cervix. The cervix also is repeatedly dipped against the vaginal wall in the hope of bringing it into contact with some sperm. Did you orgasm? You don't mention it here, so I wasn't sure.

Number three: Here's a little advice for the future. DON'T DO THIS! Use a condom, even though they're NOT perfectly effective. Also, can you handle the responsibility of a baby should you fall pregnant. If not, you're not ready for the responsibility of sex.

Number four: The only ways to tell about the question about being pregnant or not, is to get yourself tested. It's unlikely that you are, but there is a very small possibility. Also if you want to wait for your period to see if it's on time, go ahead, but I advise that you find out a little sooner. Sometimes the period can be a little late if you're stressed, new to it, or on certain types of contraception.

Number five: kenzo is very wrong about pre-ejaculate not containing any sperm. It does. It's primary function is, as he says, to neutralize any urea left in the urethra, but many naive people have fallen pregnant by thinking they're still safe from it. Better yet, wait for a better time to have sexual activity like this.

To cut a long story short, I doubt you're pregnant, but it's best that you get tested.

  • Pre-ejaculation do not contain any sperms, its totally wrong idea. It is like a sweet liquid or syrup that cleans out the channel inside penis from urea and germs that may effect sperms during ejaculation.

I do agree with annwyl-cariad that you have to ask your partner to wear condom next time even if he is planning to contact the outer area of your vagina, in spite the fact that if he ejaculated on your vagina from the outside there will be like 1%-5% possibility to get pregnant cause sperms do not live in room temp also they need a lot of energy to make their way back from outside into your vagina, but any way keep safe is the best to do.

Ask him to wear condoms and if you have any doubt simply check out your period and take pregnancy tests.

    Cheers

    • For the most part, I agree. I do not, however, about the pre-cum. It is a proven fact that there are sperm in it, albeit very few. There are just a few too many people that have fallen pregnant thinking that they can pull out in time, yet they don't realize about the pre-cum. That's one of the many failures of that 'contraception' method.

  • For one. If he didn't get off than you are NOT PREGNANT! Always remember that PRE CUM can get you pregnant too though. No matter how many people say it can't IT CAN!

It says that you are under 18 which is sometimes very scary to find out you are pregnant. Sounds to me like you just need to be very careful. Always use protection and if your going to have sex regularly than you need to be on some type of birth control.

I'm 6 months pregnant. Lol so if you ever need any advice than you can message me:)

  • Unless you're like incredibly fertile and can get pregnant from a toilet seat, then "no". The odds of you being pregnant are insanely small. So many things would have to line up. You'd have to be ovulating, he'd have to have ejaculated pre cum, it would have had to travel from your vulva all the way to a fertilized egg. Then, even if the egg was fertilized, the zygote (which is the 1st phase of the fetus) would have to survive (every zygote only has a 50 percent chance of surviving). Basically, don't worry!

  • Pre-ejaculate -does- have some sperm in it, so it's possible. To be safe in the future, you should not let his penis come into contact with the area around your vagina unless he is wearing a condom. However, I would not be too terribly concerned unless you miss your period or something. In that case, the only way to be sure quickly is to take a pregnancy test.

  • If your worried wait to take a home pregnancy test. See if you miss your period if you do get a test to find out. It is highly unlikely but possible. Use protection!
