When in a serious relationship how do you first initiate trying doggy style? I have been with my boyfriend for almost 5 months. Our sex life is great! But I have heard a lot of people talk about how great doggy style is for both partners, I am kind of interested in trying it. I just don't really know how you initiate something like that. It seems so less intimate than other positions. I am not good with initiating sex anyway, how can I get my boyfriend to initiate this position? Guys how do you usually approach wanting to try a new position? Any advice would be great!

Well if that's all you did it might be unintimate.  I tend to start out with girl on top or missionary and move to it later.  So we spend more of our time face to face. It took me a second to remember how it was first initiated, cause when me and my ex use to get in that position, it was like we moved at the same time. If you want to move to that position then if you are on the bottom, gentle push him back and roll over on your hands and knees. He should take it from there. Another way would be, from the same spot on the bottom, whisper in a sexy voice in his ear something like take me from behind. This should get him to stop where he is at, help you roll over and continue from that point on. It didn't take much for us to try some thing new, just a little communication. As simple as, 'let's try this,' or 'hey I got something new,' and sometime all it took was a simple moving of each around. She grab me and put me in positions just as much as I did her.

Guys love it when girls take the lead. Start off like you usually do and just work your way into a new position. You don't have to say anything, just do it! Hi I know what you are saying and it’s def different initiating the first time in a serious relationship vs, maybe a one nighter or something not serious. It too was hard for me because I was the guy and didn’t want to come off as being an animal or something because we didn’t do anything like that before. So since you’re asking and I’m looking from your perspective I think it should be pretty easier, and maybe you can just ask him? Tell him you’d really like to try it.
