Is it awkward to make the first move towards a hand job?

I've been dating this guy for like 2 months now and the farthest we've been doing is just making out. But I want to do more with him like hang job and fingering. We've talked about how far we would go before, but never really said we would just kinda hinted around at it. And I don't think anytime soon, unless we go to his house and actually be alone, is he going to finger me. I was wondering if the next time I see him this weekend should I make the first move while making out to give him a hand job? I'm afraid he might be surprised or be like what the hell? At first. Or should I give him kinda a heads up? Or do most guys usually like the confidence, take a hold type of girl in these situations?

The answers that suggest sort of moving your hand(s) in that direction slowly/playing along the top of his boxers/pants basically describe what I always do. I find that if like you've said its sort of been suggested that things might become more serious and neither of you has objected to it - you are both probably just shy to start. If you move your hands slowly downwards on him and kind of play around that area he will have time to guide your hands elsewhere or stop you in some other way if he isn't interested. Chance is he is though. I've never had a guys stop me. I just think you need to be sure that this is really what you want to do before you start... he probably won't appreciate you quiting halfway. The next time you guys are laying around, kissing, doing whatever (you don't even be have to kissing), if you have you hand on his chest you can casually start moving it down toward his pants. This is the way that the majority of girls have gone about this with me. Some girls like to play with the elastic part of the top of the guy's underwear or boxers, right before they start putting their hand down his pants. If he doesn't want you to do that, he can stop you or get up or move your hand away. If you slowly do it, it won't be a problem.

If he stops you, then you probably want to ask him what's up. Everything should happen slowly the first time, I imagine.

There is no way that this guy would say what the hell if you gave him a hand job. I think if you slowly stroked him down there and did something like bite his ear while making out with him that he would get the idea. If you don't want to just grab a hold of him you could also put your hand between his pants and his boxers (Then he would really get the idea).

Also you can make it easier (if you want him to finger you) if you straddle him while making out. It will turn him on and it might make him a little more adventurous :) Good luck.
