Is biting your boyfriend weird?

I've just started officially dating my boyfriend a few weeks ago, and I've recently realized that I enjoyed biting him. Not like...to make him bleed. I just enjoy nipping at his neck, alternating between biting and sucking... And not just his neck, but like...his collarbone and his lower lip, etc. A friend of mine was disgusted and said that I shouldn't. She compared to me to "all those Twilight freaks". I was a little bothered... Is biting your partner...weird? And he never seems to think so. If we're just playing around, he'll laugh and tease me, and then he'll bite me back... Or if we're actually in the mood, he seems to like it... Guys? How do you feel about a girl biting?

    Yes, it's nice, as long as you don't bite too hard, but consider he might not like it when he's not in the mood (just experiment with doing and not so..)
