I recently lost my virginity but I haven't had sex since due to it still being painful. Since then, I've tried fingering myself to see if it would feel different than how it felt when I was still a virgin but it still doesn't feel good, instead it just burns and feels uncomfortable like it always has. Moreover, I can only manage to get one finger in without too much pain. Is this normal? And if so, is there any way to reduce this burning sensation? I felt it during sex too and when we had sex it took hours before we were able to successfully have sex because it just wouldn't go in (yes I was aroused and we used lube so I'm not sure why that happened). Moreover, we used protection and we both don't have any STDs so it's not that.

Fingering should NOT hurt, sex should NOT hurt.
The guy doing it should be prudent, have groomed nails and listen to what you say.
But fingering can be done without penetration, by rubbing the clit softly.
If pebnetration hurts you, you're not horny and wet enough. Or you have vaginism.

Well, maybe your quite new to sex and fingering. I would say practice and experiment and overtime things might get more comfortable. It could just be your biology though, many women have a hard time finding their comfort zone during sex due to their biology. If all else fails go to your gynecologist and see what may be the problem.

That's difficult. .. disappointing for you both! But it probably wouldn't hurt to go to the drs and check with them if you're really sore. But being able to only fit one finger inside is not unusual for a young girl! That's not an issue :-)
