I'd say that's very immature and stupid of a guy that would tell a girl that unless he knew her really, really well and they're used to joking about stuff like that. Otherwise, that's completely out of line. But in his own stupid way, he was giving you a complement, but then to say. "it's your fault" that is really stupid. To some guys when a cute girls dresses up to look hot they think they're showing off on purpose when in fact they just want to be dressed cute to look like a nice person. unless a girl dresses really slutty or trashy. Most guys, (including myself lol!) know how to conceal a boner in various ways so that it doesn't look overly obvious should one occur around other people. A guy would have to be wearing loose boxers and loose pants but not too baggy and he'd have to be doing nothing to try to hide it in order for it to show. It'd just take your hand in your pocket to guide it up or down your leg, or better still to leave the scene where people would be able to easily see. lol! You must be really cute! ;-)
That is kind of immature to do and shows that he still has some growing up to do, he does find you attractive though. When we get hard, it should usually go down the side of our pants if we know how to control it, otherwise there's always the hand in the pocket trick to cover it up (something to watch for).
Yeah I would be flattered. I don't think I've ever caused that reaction in a guy though. If I have I didn't notice and I think if a guy actually told me that then I would think he is crude and immature and I don't think I'd want to be with him.

I've never heard of a guy just bringing it up though. Usually the girl asks the guy if he has a boner. Then if he does he can tell the girl if it's from her or not.
It's just an immature comment. And yes, guys get boners when they are near a pretty girl or when there is physical touch going on.
I allways give a big compliment to a girl, but first we slowly get into so that she can open for such generosity😉... it always works in my case but must be easy and gentle on begining.
