Is it normal to urinate a lot after losing your virginity?

On Saturday night I lost my virginty, my boyfriend did go Abit to hard inside me it hurt quite a bit, I'm on the pill (mycrogynon 30), and we used a condom and it never split or came off. So I don't think there is a possibility of me being pregnant, so is it normal to urinate a lot after losing your virginity?

  • He was obviously waaaay too rough and if he respected you he would have tried his absolute hardest not to cause you any pain. Instead he selfishly went ahead and only cared about his pleasure and hurt you AND he forced bacteria inside your urethra. You most likely have a urinary tract infection, dump him and then go to the clinic for some antibiotics. And drink cranberry juice!

  • I think you got to relax, your body just transitioned some differences, now you are sexually active and the best thing you can do is relax. Let your body react with the changes the way it has to, nature always finds its way to deal with changes. Don't worry.

  • its natural, and actually good for you. girls SHOULD pee after intercourse to stop the chances of a urinary tract infection (which are natural and common during sex for women)

  • It's normal to pee after sex but a lot? I think it's unrelated. Think about how much fluids you've drank.

    • I'm not drinking much just what I would usually drink, I go to toilet a lot then I get back up and It feels like I need it again?

  • Right after? Sex can put a lot of pressure on your bladder and make you have to urinate after. Although peeing after sex is a good thing because it can help reduce the risk of a UTI.

  • It's common to urinate after intercourse , not the first time only :)

    • But is it normal for it to happen days after?

    • I don't see how having sex once can effect your bladder days later

  • I can only speak from mine and a man's perspective.. But often after sex i really need to pee. And I have had partners that have needed to pee too.. Often the deeper you have sex (depends of position) the more pressure there is on your bladder.

  • did you drink a lot of liquid the day before or day of? but on that.00009% chance you were pregnant you wouldn't feel anything for days, or possibly a week. so you have to relax, don't think about it.

  • I never heard or read about that.

  • Rough sex will cause that but especially he there's bruising or tearing because during sex his penis pushes against your bladder it'll go away eventually when the bruising heals

  • I think people pee a lot after any sex, first time or not.
