Is my boyfriend's penis normal?

Well, I haven't seen many penises but as far as I know you can see the glans (I think that's the word) during an erection. In the case of my partner, the glans of his penis is always hidden by the skin and asks me not to retract the skin because it is painful. Is that normal or is a disease? Should I ask him to go to the doctor?

  • He is simply not circumcised which is normal. He should however be capable to pull back his foreskin over his glans in both flaccid and erect situations. If he never did this he should try himself to pull back every day a little bit further until he can uncover his glans, first flaccid and then also erect. This can take some weeks/ months before this is achieved. A circumcision is only needed in extreme cases where he cannot manage himself the stretching. It's necessary to be able to pull back for good cleaning and for a painless sexlife.

  • I have the same 'problem'. For as far as I know it is nothing to worry about, except that it's a little harder to keep clean and it may reduce the pleasure he's experiencing during sex. The main question he should be asking himself is if he wants it removed. If you're worried about it, talk to him.

  • If he is having pain and has not been pulling the skin back he needs to see a doc to possibly get circumcised at this point. He should have been doing it well before to clean it. I know another uncircumcised dude who actually had the skin completely rip during sex so he had to have an emergency surgery. Ouch.

  • If he is not circumcised, the foreskin should be able to be fully retracted without any pain, discomfort or bleeding. Any of these is a problem and should be dealt with by a proper medic. Normally, even when erect, the glans will be covered by the foreskin.

    • Thank you for MHO.

    • Thanks to you for answering

  • It can be normal for the glans to be hidden by the skin, that might be totally fine. However, there shouldn't be pain in retracting the foreskin, that part is abnormal.

  • in my opinion it is abnormal he should visit doctor as he is facing pain during boner.

  • 100% normal. there is pain because there is a slight mucous membrane underneath the foreskin and if you don't move the foreskin around enough it can fuse to the head and will tear when pulled on.

  • I don't know im circumsized thank god

  • Its non circumcised dick, but he can't take the skin back means the skin is so tight, he must go to doctor and take advice, may be he need to remove his foreskin, that can be problem.

  • Shouldn't be painful to pull back the foreskin but to be on the safe side he should seek professional advice

  • hi. I have the exact problem.. it is called Phimosis I think.. a little surgery is required to correct it. they call it circumscision. nothing very unusual about it.. the skin grows extra so it covers the head of dick and doesn't give much pleasure when sucked. I've been thinking about it for log as well. just lazy n shy perhaps to get it done. so not a worry.

    • can show u mine and you tell me if its the same as mine. lol

  • He should get circumcised.
Otherwise he'll risk tearing of the skin and several other problems.

  • Sounds like his foreskin is stuck. Time for a circumcision...

  • does not at all seem normal.

  • Its abnormal

He should have been circumcised as a an infant

  • it is normal

  • Yes it is completely normal. his penis is uncircumcised.

    • you don't need to worry about that. also if retracts the skin regularly , it'll reduce pain with time
