Is my penis gross or is this normal?

Please be honest but not rude about it. OK I'm like freaking out because my penis has tiny bumps on it. I know I have no sexually transmitted disease because I'm a virgin but where my hair comes out on my balls there are tiny bumps and I even have these bumps around the base of my shaft and going maybe an inch and a half up my shaft where there is little or no hair. I shave any hair that grows at the base of my shaft though so it just looks like little bumps are there. Is this normal or is a girl going to think I'm nasty or have a disease when she sees this? Honest answers from experienced ladies are most appreciated, thanks.
I've never noticed that on a guy it doesn't seem normal.

  • I'm not experienced sorry, but I can offer you with 100% certainty, that the bumps you see are just the pores that are responsible for pubic hair growth;

    These pores are a bit larger than hairless pores on some areas of the body, or some people naturally have larger pores. They can become enflamed and a little swollen after shaving, especially in the genital area, which can make one think there is an issue.

    Vaseline, or hydrocortisone will help with the irritation of shaving, and make bumps visibly a bit smaller.

    Genital bumps of this regard are more common that you think, as shaving the genital area has become increasingly more popular nowadays.

    Most women probably wouldn't pay to much mind in the heat of the moment, but if she ask, now you have something to tell her :D

    • than* not that you think lol

    • Thanks for answering. What I have isn't caused from shaving though since I have the bumps whether I shave or not, I just shave around my base and lower shaft 'cause I'm guessing girls think it's gross if a guy has hair there. Removing the hair does make the bumps easier to notice though, I guess I'll have to start paying attention if it makes it any worse or not.. If you say it's normal it makes me feel better though. Thanks for answering.

    • no problem :)

  • It's totally normal, I've googled it :) It's not gross at all. Some girls who are really inexperienced will probably not know what it is, but if you explain it to them or have them google it, you should be fine. Most girls know its normal.

    • OMG I just breathed the biggest sigh of relief ever in my life lol. Thank you! Any other girls reading this don't let it change your honest answer because I really want to know what you all think individually.

  • I've heard about that and read about that and from everything I've heard it's completely normal.

    I'd be fine with it

    • That's a relief to know. Thanks for answering.

  • Oh, my ex had those. They're barely noticeable and certainly not gross. Probably just hair follicles. No big deal :)

    • So have all the guys you've been with had them or only some of them? Sorry not trying to get a number of partners out of you but I'm really self conscious about this. Go anonymous if you have to.

    • I've only seen three penises up close and personal haha, and I noticed those tiny bumps on just one of them. But the other two didn't really have hair on the shaft, so that's probably why. Or maybe I just don't remember :P Don't worry, it doesn't look abnormal.

    • K, thanks so much for answering. I'm pretty sure I read a few of your answers the other day and you seem like a straight up chick and I like that!
