Is my professor attracted to me?

So, in the morning he'll say good morning to me only. He rarely looks at me during lecture but the times he did he looked away quickly when my eyes met his, or he was looking at my breasts. Again, its very rare he looks at me during lecture though. When class ends he'll say ill see you all next week while looking at me with a smile. When I approach him after class with questions he has a huge smile & says my name so warmly,he's nice to everyone but never seems to know their names. We emailed a little I made a joke about boobs & bum one time cause its a science class. When the emails are more serious he's stated he thinks highly of me. Thoughts? Even if I'm over thinking it, is it a good idea to maintain more professionalism like no bossom jokes & not being alone with him just in case?

In my opinion he is attached to you. This is how things start.

From my experience, my professor kept on telling people how much he is proud of me and they come to tell me. It was very awkward for me. He kept telling me to go see him, that we need to talk but when I go see him we just chit chat about everything and nothing in particular. The compliments are also excessive, you look very nice today as always... etc. He had even started showing affection in public and it scared me.

I think he is attracted to you and my advice to you, be careful not to encourage anything. Trust me, that kind of relationship rarely ends well.

its likely against his school's policy to email sexual jokes to a student even if there older than 21 , that comes across as unprofessional .

i don't know he might be interested or he could just be a flirt , I'm not getting the sense he's actualy made a move on you so its tough to say

His antics sound more likely it's just that he knows you better than other kids in class.

And the email is not a good idea. Don't even joke to professors about that. There are strict sexual harassment rules they follow.

Why is he not making a move? Well he is your professor and he is mature enough to have self control and see the boundary lines.

If you want it you'll have to intiate it with him. His entire career is on the line if he initiates and you don't reciprocate. Be more suggestive and and let him know you're into it and I'm sure he'll pick up on the hint.

you sound like you want to do this thing with him. If you want to then go ahead but keep it quiet and don't do it near the school at all. I can tell that you like him and you don't want to hold back at all. You should follow your heart in this situation but he should follow his mind. I know its crazy isn't it? Cause he's taking a risk of losing his job messing with you. So if you like him as a teacher then you have to weigh your options.
