Is it normal if a man's penis doesn't get super hard?

My 32 year old boyfriends penis doesn't get very hard. It's hard enough to be intimate but if it comes out I would have to literally pick it up. At 26 years old I've had 6 other sexual partners and have never experienced this. His is very limp and it causes him to slip out of me often and then he hurts himself. It interrupts sex and I
This is normal, many men do not get super hard

This has to do with age

He has a medical problem, knows about it and is embarrassed. You shouldn't say anything.

  • It's likely a minor/mild medical issue. It isn't "normal" but it isn't that uncommon either. It could be bloodflow issues or low testosterone or a few other things. He should talk to a doctor about it just to be sure, but it's not likely to be a huge deal.

  • That never happens to me. Mine sticks out and never seems to need to be picked up. I notice in p*rn it happens a lot usually with the guys that have very large d***s (I'm only average). Is your guy really big? Maybe it's a size thing lol.

  • It all has to do with blood flow to that area so would seem problem is of a medical issue. ED would be my guess and probably if he went to a doctor about it he would be popping the purple pill shortly and Johnny would be standing tall again

  • what's his body like? If he's in good shape, and he's really excited then it should be fine, but being fat and everything can make a difference, it helps to avoid jerking off too

  • The older man get the less reliable his penis is

  • He could be stressed out or something. Mental health can effect it.

    • if that's the case then I need to leave him since this has been going on for a full year. I don't want a future with someone that has that much stress.

    • That's... kinda horrible. Try talking to him about it and helping him THROUGH the stress. If you aren't willing to help someone through the bad times, then just don't get romantically involved with them.

  • If its an issue get him to go to the doctor, there all all manner of sprays and tablets to help with erection problems these days. Or even try using a **** ring.

  • I've seen this in p*rn. I don't think it's a real medical issue it just seems like the blood vessels don't swell up as stiff as other guys. They can still have sex but it always looks like their d*** is kind of floppy but yet not squishy enough to be considered soft. As long as it gets the job done? Hah

    • yeah that's exactly how his is! and the job definitely gets done haha
