You are a solider, not a desperate women. Getting the idea out of your head that your going to die the moment you get in Afghanistan would help to calm you down. You are supposed to have high confidence and morals morals, like not having sex until your in a stable relationship and keep that with you always, no matter what the circumstances. You are a young man and have needs, which I understand, but don't be in a rush to get into a relationship just for sex. get concerned about that when you get back home :)
No one has actually answered is question only judge his motives. You want to say my brother or someone is in? Well that is not you he is joining his motives for joining don't matter it is more than all you can say. If you have a fear of dying mp might not be the job for you though.

I'm not in the military,but I come from a background of men who were in the Military,former Vietnam vets,desert storm vets,Navy vets and my mom went out with a guy who got deployed to Iraq.

Im sorry if I offended anyone on here who has friends or family in the service. When I said "die in iraq or afghanistan" I merely meant if that happens. I don't intend to die or anything but I always accept the possibility that it could happen. Just as everyone who joins any branch does. You hear about soilders being killed quite often and it could happen to me just as easily. All I was wondering is if its possible to have any sort of social life while in the service. Thank you for your answers.
