Is sex in general a confidence booster? I'd say no, it isn't in all situations. It definitely depends on the nature of the situation. One night stand is a confidence killer for a female, at least it was for me when I was dumb enough to get myself into that situation (which was a long time ago). I really felt like a piece after that. For a guy though, accruing sexual conquests is probably a booster because it shows off his skill of picking up women. In a loving relationship, sex is a confidence booster. When I see how much pleasure I can give him, and how much he loves my body, it makes me love me more.
Sex boosts the amount of testosterone and other chemicals in the brain and bloodstream. That's why it's a confidence booster. That is, if its wanted sex and not sex that is forced or coerced or done for the wrong reasons. I've even known guys who felt like sh*t about themselves, emotionally, when they were f***ing people they didn't even feel attracted to, just because they had some issues and wanted to feel important. It backfires, sometimes.
Yup I do belive that sex makes you feel good even afterward, hence your confidence does boost along with your self image etc etc

but, girls view sex a lot differently than guys...you have to remember that and be careful...be honest about what you want and don't want...
its more emotional for girls, even if you're not in a relationship...but once you get that girl where you emotionally connect with, you'll be like "wow"
