No. Its hyped roughly accurately.
Of course if you have a really low drive, its overhyped, and a high drive, underhyped.
How much you get out of it depends more on your lust level then anything else.
You can learn to last longer. You can (and should) work on that now if you're concerned.
re update: In retrospect, I wish I'd made much more of an effort to start having sex sooner, and to move on from relationships where the sex wasn't what I wanted.
Sometimes. People make it into more than it is emotionally and get hangups about it. It's one of the best parts of life but it's just that. Part of living. As fundamental as eating and breathing.
If the hype makes it better, it's good. If it makes it bad or into a "sin", it's bad. Just my .02
