I tried to Google it but you can imagine what that brought back - everything except a serious discussion. I'm sure it's out there though, because I have seen references to clothed male , naked female (CMNF) as well as clothed female, naked male (CFNM). So there are variations too.

It could be the naughtiness of it. Like if you're wearing clothes it's like wherever else you go wearing clothes and having sex there, because you're dressed the same, like you could do it anywhere.
Or it could be reduced intimacy. Like the clothes are the barrier, so it's just pure sex.
