I for one, despise board shorts. They are so long and baggy that they make men look like topless clowns, particularly when they are brightly colored with flowers. Yuuuk! Even a hot looking guy with a great bod just ruins the whole look in one of those things. Most board shorts look like they would be better suited to be hanging as window curtains in my bathroom than on the body of a man.
However, I do not like to see a guy in a nut hugger either. I like to use my imagination, and the banana hammocks always ruin the fantasy. Mainly because you always look smaller than I imagined. Lol. I miss the days when guys use to wear short trunks to the beach. They use to leave a little to the imagination, and they didn't make the men look like caricatures. I really hope that short mid-thigh or a little higher come back. To me there is nothing hotter than a great male body in one of those things at the beach. After all, going to the beach should be a liberating experience as well as fun in the sun. What is so liberating about wearing something that covers the body almost to the point that you look like you are wearing pants?
Personally, if a guy wants to show off a little, I prefer a tight short set that hides the package with thicker material there, but shows off the firm bum. Most women don't want the outline of their good showing, but rather the contours of their body. There's a big difference.
