Men who like a "full bush"?

my question is why? I always thought men liked it bare down there, and some still do, but when I posted a question which do they prefer, most said full bush?

  • The numbers of who prefers which way will vary depending on who is reading the questions when it gets posted. A lot of guys prefer the "natural" look - hairy. Often that is because hairy is the way western women have been for so long. Trimmed or bare is relatively new. BUT... before that, underarm and leg hair was the norm. In many European cultures that is still true. And during the "hippie" movement, unshaven was the big thing. To many guys, that just wasn't pretty, because it is not what they were used to. Pretty much the same thing for some guys about pubic hair.

On the other hand, as many guys (and some girls) have said, hairs floating in the tub are gross. Hair in your mouth is a downer, too. And in today's society, trimming or baring the pubic area is more common and preferred by more people than in the past.

One thing that drives the preference for bare is the simple fact that both sexes like seeing the genitals of the other sex, men more so than women. So when a woman looks at a guy, she can see his penis and testicles because they are in front, and protrude beyond the pubic hair. But when a man looks at a woman, the genitals are hard to see. They are between the legs instead of in front (mostly), and most of the genitals are behind the outer lips. Makes it real hard to enjoy seeing them. And then, what is where it can be seen is usually hidden by pubic hair. Looking at a woman with pubic hair, a man sees... pubic hair. Genitals are sexy. Hair is hair. So many guys have learned that they get to see something a lot sexier if the girl is bare.

So, avoiding hair in the mouth, avoiding hair in the tub and all over your clothes, and getting to actually see the genitals, are all good reasons many men prefer well trimmed or bare pubic areas on women. What strikes me as crazy is when some people on here accuse the men who like women trimmed or bare of being pedophiles. Wanting the best view and avoiding hair in the mouth has nothing to do with the idea of wanting women to look like little girls! If a woman expresses a preference for her man.men to be bare, it is obvious that she is not wanting him to look like a juvenile boy (the differences in size etc. is obvious), and hopefully nobody would try to accuse her of being a pedophile. Now if only the accusers could realize that the men are wanting to see adult women's genitals, not a child's when they prefer women to bare or trim it.

    • Yeah I read your essay...and you made some valid points (you always do) but I have never made that "little girl/pedophile" case...here is what I have to listen to: 1) only old guys like pubes (not true) 2) All guys like bare (inherently false) 3) It's gross or unclean (wrong again) 4) Also.."OK, but then I won't give oral" ...the more of this I hear, the more it gets my back up...girls on here say they don't care what their SO thinks..pubes would never be an issue in that case because

    • I would never have a woman that did not care about or respect my opinions or wishes. And lasering would most likely be a deal breaker...I don't think I could deal with a female who took the option away before I ever even met her...that is simply high-handed & inflexible in my view../:

    • I knew you did not make the pedophile case, though some of your comments have sounded a lot like you were criticizing males who like a girls genitals bare, for whatever reason. Your comments on points one - 3 are right on. As to point 4, some guys are just tired of "hacking through the jungle" and gagging on pubes, so they decided to not give oral in those cases. No reason for you to get upset at their decision! Personally, I see a woman's genitals as a work of beautiful art, (more...)

  • Here' my stock answer to the daily pubic hair question:

Keep in mind the whole bald thing is just a current trend. If anyone is aghast at the sight of pubic hair he is probably pretty young and grew up on contemporary mainstream p*rn which features little to no hair. Biologically, pubic hair is a secondary sex characteristic. It is one of the features that distinguishes little girls from fertile females. That being the case, anyone who is turned off by it has been conditioned by popular sexual aesthetics. Besides, no one has ever said to a lady, "Hey, nice mons pubis!"

  • When I had a bush when I was younger I couldn't even take baths because I'd find pubes floating around in the water. (blah.) I'd find them in my underwear, in my bed, everywhere lol. I'm not going back to that.

    • I usually agree with you..but not today! How is pubic hair in the bathtub any worse than head hair..of which there is usually a lot more of that floating around. Girls on here always worrying about the size or shape of their organs but pubes are part of the package too...beef curtains are fine with me and I like outties but no one gives a sh*t whether or not I want pubes? How does that work? O:O

    • Because they were on my genitals? Of which I piss out of and had my period from and were on my genitals 24/7. Head hair isn't. You shampoo and condition your hair, with pubes you just slap some soap on em and call it a day. I don't like pubes on myself, I'm not going to grow a bush back just because that's what a guy prefers.

    • The real bush is above the genital area unless your anatomy is unsual...and piss, as you so eloquently put it, is a turn on for me not a detraction..not sure how periods work, but when I got a nosebleed I seem to remember that my moustache would wash clean..leastways it was no longer red... and using conditioner on pubes is not unheard of..at any rate, if no one can agree as to what is or is not acceptable, I would guess there will be a decreasing number of steady relationships in the future.,

  • i usually shave it during my period, because it feels cleaner to me at that time, and then the rest of the month I let it grow / trim it

  • I love BUSH when I see a woman with hair down there make me really horny and I feel that I want her much more

  • Their point is that it reminds them that they're having sex with an adult woman. Trimmed is a minimum for me personally.

  • just trimmed up some and the hair remaining not too long. I do not like them in my teeth.

  • I prefer a full bush on women because, for one, I find it extremely sexy and also because it shows that they're women, not little girls. The only ones who shouldn't have pubic hair are those that haven't hit puberty yet, that's it. In fact being totally shaved down there leaves you more open to infections. We're supposed to have hair down there, that's why humans naturally have it. Pubic hair provides protection for the very sensitive skin in that area of the body.

    • Actually, the hair holds germy things close to the body and makes it more likely to get infections, whereas a bare pussy is very easily cleaned. I can't figure how people got the idea that bacteria, germs, whatever find hair a barrier they cannot get by. As for the association of hair and puberty, and looking like little girls, I then assume that you prefer your women to not shave their armpits or their legs, as they look like little girls without that hair.

    • From an article about shaving pubic hair on mercola. com: "The Viral STD Risk of Shaving Your Pubic Hair Shaving or waxing can cause irritation and micro-trauma to your skin that increases your risk of contracting a viral infection. Researchers of a new case study observed that the number of cases of molluscum contagiosum have risen along with rates of pubic hair removal. To look into the link, they observed 30 patients at a private skin care clinic in Nice, France, all of whom were infected with the molluscum virus. Nearly all of them had removed their pubic hair, the vast majority by shaving, followed by waxing and then clipping. The finding supports the researchers theory that hairless genitals may provide an opportunity for sexually transmitted diseases like molluscum to take hold, with shaving showing the strongest association."

  • I don't like bushes, nope, nope.

Bare and smooth is preferred for me, although, as you can see, there are many men who don't really agree with me, but generally, I think most guys prefer bare.

  • I don't like a full bush. It's gross.

  • I prefer it shaved. It feels nicer to the touch, it is much more feminine and looks far more estheically pleasing. I really don't like hairy vaginas. I think they are gross.

  • Why? Because that is what a natural female is & has? Going bare is a relatively new trend..and it is one that I don't have any wish to participate in...I love nice, soft curls and if a bunch of youngers want to brainwash themselves or use autohypnosis to convince themselves that pubic hair is unclean or gross...I cannot stop them...but I have always had hair on my females and I always WILL have hair on my females../:

    • Basically all options are there...as long as the female does not laser..that would be very hard (probably impossible) for me to accept..will have a mess like this one:

      link

  • Trimmed or bare for me. Hair in the mouth is annoying.

    • same, I don't like having a hair that's an inch long floating around in my mouth when I'm eating a girl out.

  • It's just more sexy to look at, providing it's not like a tumble weed or anything. Shaved has its moments once or twice a year.

  • A "full", well looked after, bush looks feminine, mature and modest. Along with hair, clothes and make-up, it provides women an additional opportunity to express "style" through trimming, shaping, etc. A little hair conditioner also gives it an attractive shine ans soft touch. So what's not to like?

To me, a woman who shaves or waxes suggests she is too lazy to groom it, is insecure about how men will react and is overly preoccupied with sex. All bad.

    • Bravo! Well Said!

  • Why? It is my preference and that is all that matters. Bare is just weird.

  • From all the survey's I've seen, especially those of GAG, men prefer a woman without a bush. Check it out.

    • I agree.

    • Generally. Not always.

  • I don't know. I know when I was younger and first saw and naked women, she was hairy. I've always seen that as the more feminine look.
