My boyfriend never showers with me - why is this ?

One day I asked him to jump in the shower with me, and pretended like he didn't hear me. we have been together for over 1 year and not once has he showered with me. I'm not over weight I'm very attractive.. I'm confused.

Also, is it just that he never showers with you or he prefers to use his own shower? He may have a skin sensitivity issue, which requires him to use a special kind of soap or something like that.

Its a bit of a odd thing to do. Most couples don't do it. I've only ever did it once.
