My boyfriend stares in my face with a weird look while we are having sex. What does that mean?

I've been dating this guy for seven months. We hit it off really well from the start. We've continued to grow really close. He stops by almost everyday. However, lately I've noticed him starring at me when we are having sex -in a weird kind of way. Also, I sometimes catch him starring at me when I am not looking. He's not that expressive about his feelings or our relationship but I know he is happy because he will at least say that.

  • Ever watch National Geographic?

    When they are making a documentary about a beautiful animal, the camera is always at least 100 yards or so away from the beauty itself, because if it notices that it is observed, it will not act naturally, and ruin what makes her beautiful: The naturality.

    Same thing. If someone stares at you without necessarily trying to make you find out, they want to observe you the way you are when you think you're not being *stared at*. This makes you act more comfortable, more natural, and therefore, more beautiful.

    About staring during sex, that is totally different. Men are visual creatures. We sort of "feel through our eyes", and are more easily aroused / more turned on if we are looking at you / seeing you during sex.

    That's probably why p*rnography is so successful with guys.

  • hhhmmm - that weird look when having sex could be several things: 1. Perhaps he just got stuck inside you and can't get out; 2. He just remembered another date he made and he's late;

    3. He realizes he forgot to tell you about the postive test result he got for an STD; or 4. He remembers that he really was hot after your girlfriend and just went to the wrong house.
