My ex and I broke up almost a year ago... we've been through a lot but we have remained friends and are currently just having sex with each other. Nothing more than sex- and we are both clear about the "sex only" thing. I was hooking up with him and he was calling me babe and baby... and he even said he missed me (I'm sure he was talking about missing me sexually though). Is this something I should be worried about, like him getting too much emotion into this "sex only" thing?

Friends-with-benefits with an ex can be a tricky situation. Although both of you agree that its only for sex, usually one person actually wants more deep down, even if they deny it on the surface. I've been in this same situatoin, and I know now that my ex still does love me and wants me back. He probably does feel comfortable reliving old times when he was with you when yall hook up and sleep together. Calling you babe or pet names he used to call you when yall were together and telling you he misses you is probably not just related to the sex if you ask me. If he starts getting too comfortable and it seems like he is getting the idea that yall might get back together, and you don't want this, you should find a new sexual partner.
