My First Brazilian Wax

My First Brazilian Wax

Before I say anything about waxing I want to say that I am not against growning pubic hair at all in fact I actually prefer some bush on the guys I hook up with. I think having pubes or not having pubes is totally up to whatever is most comfortable to a person. Personally for me however I don't like having any hair down there. I've tried shaving but it always leaves behind ingrown hairs and razor cuts. I then tried nair which worked for a while but it was always kind of painful taking off and made my vagina look like it got beat up afterward with still a few leftover hairs. I tried home waxing but that sh** never works.

Finally I said f*** it and I looked up places online for good brazillian waxes.

Here are some important tips:

1. Make sure the place says on their site they don't double dip (reuse) waxing strips since that can lead to bacteria infections.

2. For your first time get the soft wax even though it's a bit pricey it will be quicker and less painful. . Trust me your vagina will thank you later.

3. Don't shave for a month or however long it takes for the hair to grow up to an inch. By waxing the hair off from its roots it gets rid of ingrown hairs and takes longer to grow back.

4. If you have a low pain tolerance try taking an advil or two before the procedure. Also try taking a warm bath the night before to soften the hair follicles.

5. Make sure to not shower for at least 24 hours after since the skin will be very sensetive.

6. Don't forget to be polite to the person doing the procedure. (That's just common decency)

And there's so many more tips which I found here.

Anyways, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I was crazy nervous and thought about running away twice but I sipped my complementry tea and slipped out of my jeans and panties and laid down on the table. It's not like I'm a virgin but it definitely felt weird stripping down in front of a stranger who I wasn't having drunken sex with. The woman was super friendly and even made conversation to avoid the akwardness of me being pantsless right in front of her. The first couple of waxes were in the bikini area so they weren't too bad but the lower she got the more painful it got. I have a pretty average pain tolerance so the first couple strips hurt "down down" there but after a while you get used to it.

The procedure only lasted about twenty minutes or less and afterward my vagina felt tingly but she used a lot of baby powder before during and after the procedure I think to help with that. I would definitely go back it really wasn't that bad and it's super smooth down there now too. It's like getting a shot it's only temporary pain that instead of preventing a virus leaves you with a smooth and soft pussy. ;)

  • I have done it a few times. I felt much the same as you the first time. It did seem to get a little better each time after. Probably because of previous experiences. Your tips are good and I recommend them as well. I don't always do it, but it is mainly just the cost.
As a side note on the advantages side, the area stays sensitive for a few days. If you enjoy oral pleasure, it was much more intense (in a very good way) those few days.

  • You forgot the most important step -

Schedule a good long oral sex session with your partner afterwards.

I mean, what's the point of all that pain if you don't make time to enjoy the perks?

  • I tried waxing but it didn't really agree with my skin. Then I discovered the sugaring technique, it's a lot like waxing, you still yank the hair out by the roots but it's somewhat gentler for my skin. Between times when I sugar I tweez any major stray hairs. I have really light blonde, sparse, fine pubic hair so by the time I have an 1/8 - 1/4 inch of fine fuzz to, sugar off again. I've been removing my pubic hair almost since it came in. I feel cleaner, prettier and more feminine without a patch of fur down there!

  • How do you cope with the regrowth though? I like the idea of being hairless but the inbetween stage of not hairless and not grown back enough to be waxed puts me off.

    • It's not as bad as you think. The hair will eventually grow back a little like it does after a couple of days of shaving except it's not as stubly. The more you wax the thinner the hair becomes and the longer it takes to grow. Also, depending on how sensitive your skin is you may or may not get little bumps or scabs. I didn't but it is possible after your first time.

    • Thank you for replying. I'm thinking about giving waxing a go after reading this!

  • You ladies are brave souls, haha. My girlfriend is a licensed hair stylist/esthetician, and when she was still in esthetics school she had me "volunteer" to come in to practice on me. I didn't go downstairs with it, that'd be pretty weird (and scary) to do in a room with like 20 other people and just curtain in between, haha. So I let her do my chest, my stomach, and that weird patch us guys get on our lower back🐵 I'm trying to remember what the pain hierarchy was, I think my chest was the worst and my lower back wasn't that bad. Definitely had a few "Kelly Clarkson" moments though😂

So I'm sympathetic to you gals who get waxed, anywhere, really, but especially down there. My girlfriend has being doing it forever, longer than we've been together, so it's old hat to her. I'd add as a suggestion that not all technicians are created equal, and she had one or two go-to's who she preferred their technique or bedside manner or whatever it was that made her more comfortable, so she'd probably recommend finding someone you like and sticking with them. And I think her ultimate recommendation now would be lasering. I bought her a package at some place, and it's pretty expensive, but if you can swing it, I'd imagine it would save you a lot of time, money, and hassle in the long run. I think 6-8 sessions is all you need, and I bought her a year long, one procedure per month deal, so she'll be doing her legs and armpits as well, so she's stoked👍 Ran me a good $1,200, but like I said, if you can afford the big hit, it will pay for itself in a year, I think it's like $90 plus tip to get one Brazilian💸💸💸

  • I can't stand waxing, honestly. I've had two bikini waxes, and hated both of them.
I went and got laser instead. Bit more expensive, but the results are so worth it. I have no hair growth at all anymore, and will only have to get a session done every year or so.

  • I give you props for doing what makes you happy girl. Only pain I can relate to that is getting my back done the first time. I jump like a cat to the ceiling. Now I go get a body massage and it done once a month. If you keep on top of getting things waxed the hairs get weaker and the don't grow back as fast the baby powder is a blessing. but I also do my chest and stomach. So gold bond anti itch works great for it itching. Just to let you know. Hope not to much information.
