ok girls, I have major female issues here. I don't know why but ever since I had my first period, something has been wrong with me. I mean, like there is all this red gunk (I know its gross but bear with me) and I leak all the time. it bothers me but my mom doesn't believe me. she says "your too young to have those problems... don't lie to me again! grr arg!" I'm concerned. my mom won't take me to see the doctor and I'm afraid something bad is wrong here... and advice?

if your over 14 find a local planned parenthood and you can take yourself in, you don't need parental permission or anything, I really encourage you to go and find out what's wrong it may or may not be something serious

I would go to a planned parenthood or tell your mom you would like to go to the gynecologist. Do you bleed all of the time even when your period is not present?

Yeah... like, when I do get my period, its is heavy and lasts for four months.

That's not normal at all. Call planned parenthood. It could be a cyst or something worse. You could always show your mom (sorry but sometimes it takes extreme measures).

I think what you have is called a fibroid(s), I agree, it's definitely something that needs to be checked out and the hospital will take you without needing your mom's permission, generally.

Hey, I showed my mom and she said it was a clot. she is going to help me keep tabs on my period so we can see if it lasts longer then normal. if it does, then me and her are going to the docs. thanks so much for your help! if things go bad, the docs are most likely going to give me, my mom said this, birth control pills to help regulate my periods. thanks for your help!!!!

You're getting ahead of yourself here. Don't freak yourself out until you know what it truly going on. Once you know you can go from there. Adoption takes a lot of money, psyche evaluations and stability (financially and emotionally). Cross that bridge if/when you get there.

What the hell is the matter with your mother that she would ignore such a thing with her daughter. Go to an emergency room at a hospital and get looked at. They damn well will straighten out your mother

The best thing is to get someone close to you to take you to the doctor. there is obviously something wrong and wouldn't it be be better to know instead of letting it happen? if your mom doesn't believe you, you should show her how bad it really is and then she should hopefully believe you.
