Do you have any discharge? (yeah, sounds gross, I know) For a yeast infection, it is thicker, kind of like cottage cheese, and has a slight odor. The burning and itching is definitely a sign of a yeast infection. Go get some monistat, ASAP! Get the whole package, and don't bother with the yeast infection test. It's expensive! So is monistat! Anyway, get at least the 3 day one , because one day probably won't do the trick. And make sure it includes the cream. Just follow the instructions in the package. While you wait for it to work, eat a lot of yogurt with active yeast and drink cranberry juice. If that still doesn't make it disappear, go to the doctor. As a matter of fact, maybe you should go in anyway. It could also be a bacterial infection, which can't be treated over the counter. In either case, they will give you some pills that will clear it right up.
And girl, NEVER wait a month again. That itching is the WORST and waiting to treat can also cause some serious damage!
Oh and FYI link you can get a yeast infection from: wearing pants that are too tight, wearing too many layers (not enough breathing), or synthetic fiber panties, from taking antibiotics (again, eat yogurt while taking them, it helps), using harsh (or any that your skin reacts too, esp if you have sensitive skin) soaps down there, some of the lubricant found on condoms, and frequent douching. Oh yeah, and if your man has one (not very common) he can give it to you if you're having unprotected sex.
Hope this is helpful! Now go buy some monistat!0 0 0 0You can go to the drug store and get a home testing kit to see if you have a yeast infection. If you do you can use home remedies to cure it or over the counter stuff, if that doesn't work go to the doctor. if the home test says you don't have a yeast infection then try seeing if its a new soap or bubble bath or douche irritating you, also condoms residue or spermicidal suppositories can cause irritation. watch out for colored discharge and painful urination. If you can't find any soap or other reasons why it can cause itching, call your doctor. good luck!
0 0 0 0It could be a yeast infection you haven't treated or something worse like an STD (hopefully not that). Go see if you have a yeast infection, if not a doctor.
