Normal- yes (as in not a biological defect on his behalf). Common? Not really. Males are capable of multiple orgasms like our female counterparts but conditions to make it happen are truly few and far between. Assuming he actually reached orgasm twice (not just ejaculated; because on occasion coming close can result in a partial expulsion of semen without orgasm), then I would imagine it's safe to say that yes, you obviously pleased him.

Not unusual, at all.
