It shouldn't bother the TIP of your penis, since during sex that part will stay inside her. But if prickly regrowth from shaving is a problem, the natural solution is to stop shaving. If she wants to she can switch to waxing, but that's very painful (and expensive if you go the salon route) so she may not feel comfortable with it. So trimming is another good option. The trimmed ends won't be as wiry as stubble from shaving.
